    Maybe you should just tell them that. In quite a lot of places exclusion from socials would be classified as bullying. It goes on in our office and I think it's pretty horrendous - think it will get even worse when I leave.

    Do you know its funny you should say that, cos ALL my friends are going to France in the Summer and I never got invited, I still don't understand why, I think its cos its a couples thing and I am not in a couple. This just further adds to my paranoia that people are friends with me out of pity.

    Maybe cos you do a lot with your OH they think work stuff isn't your bag??

    What about finding somewhere else to meet people you can get on with (do as I say not as I do - I have 0 local female friends :o)?
