I'm moving to Manchester soon and looking at areas in which to rent a nice 1 bed flat. My work will be based in Chorlton and sometimes in other parts of Manchester. So far I've been looking for flats in Chorlton and Didsbury. Are there any other areas I should consider?0

Hi peeps
Has anyone been to Rushholme (aka the curry mile?) no not for the takeaways, but there are plenty of grocery shops selling all kinds of specialty ingredients which you wouldn't find in the supermarkets - worth a look if your passing by.
I find largemanchester.com really useful for reviews and suggestions on events, bars and restaurants around the city. Just seen the news on the Irish festival on there too so that's me sorted for the weekend.0 -
