1) Got paid today.
2) Agreed (in principle) to working on a work project for a different department in my own time for double time pay.
3) Took a book I sold on eBay to the PO (£5 profit).
4) Brought my pasta lunch that I cooked last night into work.
5) Bought coffee from the machine (10p) instead of a Starbucks one from the canteen (£1.10).
6)Planning to drive home at 56mph to round the day off nicely!!0 -
* I have leftover veggie pasta bake for lunch, so a no spend day
* Convinced OH to drive us home to our folks tomorrow for a long weekend (he's unable to do his OT this Saturday as he cut his hand and has stitches, my poorly Carpenter) - so will save money and have lovely family time too
* Got to work at 8 instead of 9:30 and listed 15 things on eBay. Have a lunchtime list too
* Recommended MSE to my friend Anna who's having a rough time of it

Had a great "free" day with my two kids: went to feed the ducks and played in the park, and in the afternoon went to a free "play with paint" session at Sure Start. Kids ate home-made lollies from reduced angel delight (10 lollies for 25p). Picked first tomatoes from greenhouse, spring onions and beans both grown in pots (seeds for free from dad, compost cheap from uncle). Best of all, sold a run down boat that has been littering my garden for 2 years (a project my husband took on that never got done) for £1000.00! been for sale for ages, made a loss but it's gone now and money in the bank!
Tomorrow - Free Sure Start Yoga Bugs session for kids...determined summer holidays will be free!0
