The best way I've found to remove these stains is to soak the items in a solution of hot water and soda crystals. You have to leave them a few hours, even overnight if you want. The stains and deposits become soft and wash off very easily, I've never had to scrub.
Soda crystals should be suitable for all glass, ceramics and steel, but don't use them on aluminium as they tarnish it.0 -
umm, i just use hot water and washing up liquid, i have it so hot i use gloves, but everything comes up sparklingNonny mouse and Proud!!

I use a bit of cream cleaner and rub
I have an intricate pattern on my teaspoons, so an old tootbrush is needed there.
I'll add this to the existing thread on cleaning out mugs, to keep ideas together.

ordainary salt will clean cups and probably spoons - just dampen the item and rub the salt over the stain with a damp cloth.0

A cheap way is good old table salt, pour about a tbl spoon into cup & rub in with fingers, you will see the salt turn brown.

Denture Cleaning tablets, marvellous for getting rid of stains on tea cups, tea pots, coffee cups. Best of all they leave no nasty bleachy taste... hope this helps:rolleyes:0

I do em 1 at a time - water + bleach, leave a bit (with spoons in if I need to - decant to next cup, rinse & drain!
Bleach is water soluble so job done!
