Going to orlando oct 28th. Looking for a small villa with pool and spa. Any sites or recommendations anyone? Newbie here, so sorry if this is an often asked question.
Incidentally, going with mytravel-travelcity and the "we'll beat any quote" merchants couldn't touch the price.0 -
Hi,
we're going to orlando Sept 2006 and wondered which sites to get quotes. So far Airtours are a bit cheaper than Travelcitydirect. Anyone know of others to try. I am happy with charter flights from manchester.
Also we want to try to do without a car so does anyone know best cheap hotels (room only) to stay at which are easy to get to places to on public transport?
Anyone know how much Taxis or coaches are from airport if we dont have a car?
Thanks for any help

3 of us off to orlando next year.
First fortnight in April, when all the Glasgow schools get their easter holidays, no matter when easter is, or last week in July first in August.
Would like to fly scheduled and happy to get to London first.
Any ideas?
Or would going from Shannon, and doing the immigration there, be a god idea? Has anyone any experiences of that?We all evolve - get on with it0 -
Are you from Scotland or Ireland?
Try https://www.flyglobespan.co.uk they fly scheduled from Glasgow and Belfast (from next year)0 -
swordfish on the top of this thread is links to sites with villas offhand i think there are three the latevilla one is good as its now showing october if you scrool down, lots of small villas ie 4 beds so lots of choice and areas etc.
Heres hoping you get a good deal most seem to be around the £350-450 mark for a 4 bed. Im looking for large 8 bed with so many grand children will need a hol when I come back!!!my bark is worse than my bite!!!!!!!!0 -
Thanks Bobsworlduk. Flown charter from Glasgow before and don't want to do it again. Pleased to see Globespan do a "premuim economy" option so I may well try that.We all evolve - get on with it0

If anyone is looking for florida attraction tickets we got ours from
https://www.park-tickets.com
Their prices include taxes which a lot of other sites on the web do not include and they worked out far cheaper than any one else. They also show prices in $ and in £ and offer a really good exchange rate.
Really friendly and helpfull too if you email them direct.
Have recommended them to friends who are travelling out later in the year and will use them again next time we go.0 -
this is also a good place for tickets
http://www.themeparkticketsdirect.com/
and free postage or extra costs.0 -

I wouldn't recommend indirect flights unless you get it much cheaper. Not worth the hastle or risk of delays. Plus you might get a 30kg baggage allowance on your flight to Orlando but thats no good if your Easyjet connection only gives you 20kg.
Try expedia for flight only but look at Travelcitydirect, Flyglobespan, Virgin, Thomson, Mytravel, First Choice. I know Virgin are doing a direct flight from Glasgow during July 2007.
If your upgrading seats look at First Choice premium cabin, it looks really nice!0 -

You could always use American Airlines from Glasgow - Chicago and then from Chicago to whereever.
