first part of email says to enter vouncher code when next at the checkout*

then in small print goes on to say

This voucher code is only available at the point of sale. Once a purchase has been finalised a voucher code cannot be used. Voucher codes can only be redeemed at avonshop.co.uk. Discounts are not applicable to items purchased in the post purchase outlet store.

hope this makes sense i dont know how to post actual email

    thanks

well ive just gone to the avon shop. you have to place an order for something then at the checkout enter the given code and it shows up as a freebie. shipping cost is £3.50 unless i spend £20 or over in which case i get free shipping. if i remove order item from the basket my freebie goes to !!!
I think we're getting a bit tangled up here. avonshop.co.uk is a site for customers to order directly, rather than via a Rep, it is not a site for Reps to use (well, not unless they want to earn no commission !).

Hi !!!!!!, I know that avonshop.co.uk is a site for customers but the code that marie12 got will only work on here.

It's not like the usual anniversary/birthday gifts we normally get from avon, that are just posted out.

I just had a thought though... marie, have you been buying stuff from avon.co.uk before you became a rep? If so, is this a gift from them directly as a customer?

MC, so sorry to hear that the party did not quite go to plan as you expected, but you did really well in making £178 in products! I bet if I had a party I wouldn't sell half as much or even anything to make it worth my while.

Still think you did really well though.

Facebook - I am Debs Curtis, Bristol Network. Just tell me your user name if you add me.

Its my turn to rant now! Am now on my 3rd Campaign but for my 2nd i ventured out and did one of my streets. I hjad 5 orders which i was pleased about. Last week once i had placed to order i took some notes round to the customers with the amount and day i would be round and my number if they had special insructions! One lady texted to say when she would be in so that was good. This morning i went out with 5 orders, first house out, 2nd house had £30 for a £21.75 order and i didnt have enough change, the other 2 were out. Go back tonight, completed 2, left a note through 1 which she called me as soon as i got back in the door, 1 answered the door and said she had forgotten and to come back thursday when she gets some money and the other one the little kid answered and said his mum was at work, come back tomorrow!

I am starting to get the feeling its gonna be easier doing F&F!!!!!

    RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

du dun dun...another one bites the dust...:(lol. oh well.

    RANT TIME lol

Had a call yesterday from a rep and i KNEW she was gonna say she was quitting. turns out it was a query about territory - which i sorted straight away..but TODAY got a text telling me shes not making anything from it so doesnt want to do it!

I was calm lol:p and said its fine and sorry that she feels that way (even though she spent £15 on samples she didnt need as i had told her she would get loads free AND loads from HT for herself AND moaned about the cost of books but refused to knock on doors to get her old ones back! lol:mad: )
I have to laugh or id get ****** off and tell her what i think ha ha but im a 'professional' and she is a friend of a friend so ill just breathe.:A

The thing that gets me is people ASK to do avon and think its gonna roll into their laps! this rep had a good 150 houses but simply couldnt be bothered. She lost her free books in her first camp so i gave her more and cause she moaned about money i sorted her books for the next camp too.

Also, the streets probably had avon reps before hence the reluctance for SOME to order for the first few but now shes quit it messes it up for the next rep who tries those streets cause the trust will deffo be gone!:(

It just gets me so mad lol she will now go around saying 'yeah i did avon but its ****' ...well no...avon is what YOU make it! and giving up halfway through your 2nd camp really says alot about how much you put into it! aaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhh:mad:

My silver lining will be that i can prospect her customers and see if i can find a replacement who WILL put the effort in building a stronger team for myself and all those avon customers out there ha ha

well said sophisoph. It's true, Avon is like any other self employed business, money doesn't just drop in your lap with no effort. If this lady was running a shop, does she expect to make money the first day she opens? No, people will come in and browse, some will buy, others won't. She may make a loss for the first few months and then all of a sudden business will pick up.

Oh well. People read success stories like Gail and Debbie and want it all now!

I haven't done at all well this campaign but haven't canvassed my territory, just my customers, because with the new job and trying to mystery shop to get extra money, just haven't had the heart or time.
  • Well guys I've got my positive head back on today. Decided to go and get my twelve missing books back (1 permanently lost as I posted to an empty house, that's what you get for posting and running). When I got home I printed out a little leaflet to the effect 'missed you yesterday, would be really greatful if you could leave your book out for collection tomorrow, with or without an order.' Called round all the houses, still no one home so posted the leaflets. I will go back tomorrow and hopefully retrieve most of the books, so that I can try another street (if I dare).
Also was asked by a male colleague if I could bring a book for his wife, apparently she is a big fan of Avon. I am back in the zone!

  • Hiya all,
I think I may have made a bit of a booboo's with my first delivery!! DOH!
It didnt occur to me since I gave my work details to my ASM (Which is where my deliveries will go to as I am not home during the week). Having checked my account online, theres no sign of my work address!! I have added the work address as delivery address today, and emailed my ASM to see if I am to late for the details to be changed, but if they try and deliver but cant, what will happen? Will I get charged?
    Thanks xx
So much for 'Money Saving' ;)

    Hi Babyfreckles

No, you won't get charged for non delivery. The courier may try your neighbours to see if they are in, or if there is another rep in the area, may leave your order there. Otherwise will return to depot but will leave you a yellow card with a number to call to find out where it is, if he hasn't indicated on the card.

    AVON DAILY DEALS MARCH 2010

did any of you guys order the lavender warming teddy thing?

i did then deleted it by mistake. DOH a customer at the party asked me if i could get another one for her.

please can someone supply me with the order code for it before 8pm wed 31/3 i have to send my order before 10 and im going to be checking the reps too.

    Gutted!

    BUT................................................
the party tonight was a huge success, over £300 orders for C7 which now takes me up to

    £924.90

Not all of the commission is mine i should stress, i gave some to the hostess as part of the party deal. some is non commission charity goods and some oasis bangle watches.

    I did a raffle which i made £11 profit from :)
Got a party booking for 20 April 2010.

all the same customers, but it saves me dropping books for them :) and only one delivery point with payment ready for me :)
:T wealth is a state of mind :T
