For the SSS uses - so long as it's the original one the uses can be applied to all the products as far as I know.
Generally all of them but the important thing to note is that the anti-insecticide properties only apply to 'original' or 'soft & fresh' (green label) as already mentioned by Lozza. I actually added a note to that effect on my little A5 pamphlet.

Thanks for the responses, I dont suppose you have the template for the A5 pamphlet I could copy ? really cheeky I know but I am having trouble trying to put it together.

My friend has just joined Avon and I have directed her here, she is so impressed with all the ideas and help. I only work from one book to make sure I dont get confused but I have said you all work from two to get better value for money. I have told her to keep an eye out for bargains that have been missed and creative ordering, but most importantly the message I get from here is look after your customers and word gets round, the customers also become loyal when they know you are going to be regular. The odd free gift for better ordering works really well. I do a free raffle over 3 capaigns spend over £? for a ticket, I then put in lots of liuttle prizes I have collected.

Just collected my books. From 30 catalogues I left in Monday, I 've got three back- and no orders. Nothing.

Amara, don't be down, this is quite normal. Especially when you first start out as an Avon Rep. Customers want to know you are going to be reliable, be regular and are coming back. Get those books prepped and back out there! You will be pleasantly surprised when you pick up your books and find some orders.

And just to reiterate, when I first started out doing avon, my first campaign was for £0.00, my second campaign was for £30, and after that it got better.

Newbies on here have posted the same, that they had no orders first trip, second and third trips to their territory bagged them orders and some hit high order values, so don't stop! Keep getting those books out.

For the ones you didn't get back, have you got calling cards? The ones that say I called to collect your order, please contact me? If not, knock on the doors where you left the books and ask them for your book back. At the end of the day people who don't know about Avon, don't know we have to pay for our books therefore they are precious to us.

Hi Amara, as aureol says. This is pretty normal. I am a new rep (Cmp11 was my first) and on my first outing I didn't get one order and some books not left out. But when I returned to get them the following day one was an order, and it got better from there on in. I finally ended up with the total in my signature below, so don't give up hope. I found it really helpful to put the book around friends and family first to build up my confidence on talking about the products etc and most of my orders ended up coming from them as I didn't manage to get around my whole territory (F&F had a large portion of my brochures). Fingers crossed for you :D
    Everyone loves a bargain
  • I will be placing my first order this weekend (order close date is Monday) and I was wondering when I will be able to see the availability of items that have been ordered. Its a big order (well for me lol) its just over £300 plus I've ordered bags samples demos and some xmas gifts so it bumps it to just over £400. Just worried that with so many items some are bound to be short or out of stock as as a new rep I dont want to disappoint new customers IYSWIM/

    Thanks for the help:beer:

perseverence is key, I was in exactly the same position last week. Ive now dropped and collected over 80 books and ended up with just 3 orders!!!! Most of my orders have been through F&F this campaign but Im hoping things will pick up once the custs realise I keep coming back. Also once you've weeded out the ones who are definatly not interested you won't waste a book/time on them.

Amara, chin up it really will get better, c11 was my first campaign, I have 4 roads approx 170 houses and had over £260 from 18 orders. A whole street did not order boo hoo!

I took delivery at 7.30am yesterday, was woken up so put dressing gown on was sweating buckets and couldn't see where to sign as the sun was so bright my eyes wouldn't open and focus, I bet the delivery guy thought I was a right numpty:o I was missing one item that was an order for my next door neighbour which was ok. I also noted that I had two items of anew(2 different customers) and recalled on this thread that this was a good offer ie buy over £20 and receive a goody bag worth over £30, I forgot to be creative and order this!!!!! I phoned cust services stated I was new ect and the lovely lad is sending the free gift and the missing item by post:)
