Oh tell us about the entertaining characters - intrigued face.

Oh mostly just some dead classy folk! Though the best one was a girl that answered the door, clearly off her face on some illegal substance...

Me: Hello! I'm here to collect the Avon brochure.
    Her: Oh...the book? Yeah.
Me: Yes, I dropped it through the other day. Did you have a chance to look through it at all?
    Her: *blank stare*
Me: Do you know where it is?
Her: oh, I suppose you want me to go get it for you.
    Me: If you could, thanks.
Her: *thinks about this for a minute* Okay...

That and another place which looks harmless enough (excepting the metre tall weeds in the front garden) but when the guy opened the door, I'm almost positive he was a squatter as there was no furniture and rubbish all over the floor!

And it's not even a dodgy street or anything! Perfectly normal and residential. :rotfl:

LOL - the most entertaining I've had was a fairly fit bloke answering the door in little more than a saucy apron........made my evening :D:D:D

On a positive note, I've just had a first order from someone after delivering books every campaign for 2 1/2 years, so persistance does pay off ;)

Are the toning flip flops sold out now? I thought they were just out of stock. I hope not, Iv had 4 people order them so far

My order was submitted last Wed and is due on Tues. The online invoice shows both sizes of flip flop as due to be delivered.

So I was looking through the brochure last night and putting together a list of things I am going to order. Totted it all up and I am buying £35.99 worth  I know this is my first campaign so am probably going a bit mad but does anyone else spend their earnings with Avon before even getting paid? :o

Oh, and what kind of things are people loving from this campaign?

Sorry, been AWOL for a while, hi to the 'SW Posse' and yes, am very much like you, SG, in that I actually earn v little from Avon but I have a great time trying all the different products! :T Have never worn so much make-up in my life but really glad I started doing Avon because it makes it so easy to try products I would never have dreamed of buying before. The 90 day no-quibble guarantee is really worth its weight in gold as a selling aid. Again today I came across a lady, who's been ordering Avon for ages (her daughter has now signed up to be a rep) and she had nooooo idea that she could send things back, even if used, if she didn't like them.

Hi guys, I've emailed this question to Avon but I'm guessing I won't hear anything now till after the weekend so thought I'd run in past you all :).

One of my customers ordered a sports bag in campaign 9 but it was from the campaign 8 book. The zip on the pocket inside has broken already so obviously she wants to return it. When i go into replacements on the website I can only see items from Campaigns 9 and 10 even though the bag was ordered in Campaign 9!

How do I go about returning this item and getting a replacment?

    Thanks very much

Could be wrong on this and am still catching up after being AWOL for a while so pardon if someone else has already answered this but you can only order replacements from the last two campaigns. Realise you say that you ordered the item in C9 but am wondering if you actually back-ordered from C8 in which maybe that's why it's not showing up as being available for a replacement? Only guessing..... I also needed to organise a replacement this campaign but in the end had to send it back for credit and re-order. Same difference, I guess, just a bit more hassle.

Not necessarily, I've had a customer order size 6/7 and theyre
coming Monday as I checked my invoice. Guessing they've had some more delivered.

I got 6/7s on my last delivery but no 4/5s even though they were all showing as available when I submitted my order. Am living in hopes that the 4/5's are now back in stock.

    Keep us informed pls.

To the 'SW Possee' specifically (and anyone else, who'd like to answer).....

How many of us have had first hand experience of our Given Territory being given away to someone else even though we've been regularly canvassing it?

Don't know what the SW Possee is?

But... I've had about 4 people 'taking' my territory since I started Avon about 6 years ago. Only two of those were actually given it the other two just grabbed. On both occasions the 2 (who were given it) were caught 'in the act' by me as my lovely customers were on the phone to me immediately & it was happening very nearby. Big nuisance as we all know, having to undo the damage & explain to everyone.
