    On a completely different thread........
Can I be really nosey and ask whereabouts you are. My OH is in Somerset and will be tagged as a SL for C11. Just wondered how ridiculously far away you would be?

Hi, am actually a Yorkshire 'girl' but my OH (Devon 'boy') tells me that the Somerset border is 30/40 miles away. We're in Okehampton, which is on the Northern edge of Dartmoor.

Only 1 of my customers ever orders anything to do with frizz so not sure its worth making a big hoo-ha about for me. Will offer it at a reduced price on my slips but not worth the cost of postcards.

Anyone know why the suncreams dont have the UVA star rating like the vast majority in the shops have ?

No idea Deanos! All they seem to have is a system of 'plus signs' ie 1 for low, 2 for medium and 3 for high - not very informative. Having said that I haven't looked closely at them recently and I'm just judging from the brochure picture.

Gather we're not supposed to sell Clearance but, having said that, one of the recommendations I seem to recall somewhere is that if you have a good customer then you can offer to let them order from your HT brochure occasionally. Seems to me that there's a fine line between the two so.... I've just come to realise that you can boost your sales if you ask your regulars what bargains they're interested in.

I ordered one of the on-line offers for myself recently but it was of no use to me so I showed it to one of my regulars, who has quite a few grandchildren. She was over the moon and snapped it up. She asked me to bear her in mind if any further similar offers arose so I ordered some clearance items this campaign, added 20-25%, and - again - she snapped them all up. (She gave me carte blanche to order anything I thought may be of interest to her up to the value of £50 but I took her 'a selection' and she bought everything...... over £90 worth :T )

Strangely enough, this same lady ordered goods earlier this year but they were out of stock; she's now been able to buy them at almost half the price she was willing to pay so she's a really happy bunny!

So, am on a new mission - anyone with lots of children to buy for is more than happy to start putting things away now for Christmas and, of course, everyone likes a bargain. Have already asked some more of my regulars if they're interested in kiddy stocking fillers and, so far, they're all champing at the bit...... ;)

PS: Don't forget the Christmas/Santa figures - sold one to our dinner guests on Saturday..... (at reduced prices of course  )

I quickly ordered the Anew special from HT11, and when my order arrived today there were no bonus products. It's only when I've looked now I've noticed you had to order them separate. In my defence, I've only ordered one special before (the Fergie) and they all came automatically lol.

Can I order the extra items with my next order? Or do I need to return the ones I got today and reorder the job lot on the next order?

Shameless bump for this question :D Any idea anyone?
Moving onto a better place...Ciao

Im guessing you mean the moneymaker for the Anew?

Personally, I would order the whole lot again and then return the first lot in the C11 invoice. I have been told not to return money makers until you have been invoiced for them or you dont get credited.

Not sure if its true, only got my first money maker on the fergie sets.

Aces. He is in somerset not far from Bridgewater.

He's not too confident about the prospecting. Have made contact with ASM in area and she is happy to drag him out a bit. Just putting feelers out for people in the area.

But thank you very much for letting me know. :T:T:T
