  • I have had a phone call from a potential customer asking for advise with regards to eye make-up. She says she has very sensitive skin around her eyes but loves to wear eyeliner and mascara. Does anyone know if any particular items are suitable for sensitive skins.

No Lucyclare, you are right. This is one time she might get into trouble and have her account reviewed.

We are only supposed to buy demo products to show them off to customers and to give them a chance to sample, ie buy a pot of Anew Day Rejuvenate Cream and take it to all your customers with spatulas, so each could try a little for themselves. And hopefully they will buy.

But to return lots of demo products as surplus stock, could not sell! No, she wasn't supposed to be selling them anyway. Different if she bought them and found upon using them, she had a reaction to the face cream or something.

I was going to paste the link but am unsuccessful, on your home page, scroll right down to the bottom, and you will see downloads, click on that and it will show you a page of links. Click under miscellaneous, Mascara. This will bring up a list of mascaras and their different suitabilities.

I can't see if there is anything for the eyeliners as it is not letting me scroll.

You cann return some bits from ht with no problem, I've had to before when the quality was shocking, but certainly not using that code!

  • Thanks aureol, I will give that a go. Thanks for all the help and tips guys, don't think I would have even attempted Avon if it wasn't for all the helpful people on here.

Thanks for that. Worrying that she is a Trainee SL and this is the behaviour she might be demonstrating to her team. More worrying is other SL have told her to do this.

I have left info on the thread on Avon Forum advising against it, but hey ho, shes a big girl and will do what ever she wants to do anyway.

Just glad that at least I am passing on the right advice and info to my team.

    Hi

I'm just placing my order online and noticed that some of the items have different codes online to that in the book. Is this normal??

The description is right so I assume it is?

    Thanks

    Hello Inaminute

Yes, I notice that too. I think it is for Avon invoicing system as promotions change, but it allows the item to retain the same product code in the brochure as they are printed up so far in advance.

Whoop whoop, just walked down the street with an Avon book in my hand and a lady shouted down from her bedroom window asking if I did Avon, and could I let her have a book? Yay!

Am feeling quite motivated again now as I lost my mojo a bit in the last campaign, just seemed to have loads on with work and college course and looking after little one, that I found it hard to have the energy to do much Avoning. Still, managed to get ok sales and after a pep talk from Mum am back on form again now, woo hoo. Just thought I'd share that with you all, hope everyone else is ok xxx
