Ladies. Something freaky has happened to me today!

I got a call from someone asking if I could supply them with a current Avon book,

"yes" I replied, "but who is calling?" as I didn't recognise the voice.

"Madam x," came the reply. No, don't know you.

"Where do you live Madam x?"

She names a road I have never heard of.... ok, might be an area I don't know like Greenford.

"where did you get my details from please?"

"Your book was in a shop with your earn extra money by becoming an avon rep card."
"ok, great, which shop was that please?" I haven't left any books in any shops.
"It is the one on Letsbeavenue"

Right, now I am really puzzled.

"What's your postcode please, so I can send a book to you?"
"RGxx xx"
"Umm, you live in Reading?"
"Yes, that's right"
"I don't live in Reading! What shop did you say had my book and card?"
"Is it a problem? Do you sell Avon?"
"Yes I do, but I don't live in Reading. I will find someone to come and see you to give you a book. Can I take your full details please?"

Now...... can someone please tell me how the F£$%%%%%$£"") did my book with my details on the back, she said,and one of my looking for reps cards get all the way to a shop in Reading?

I wouldn't mind, it is great but I can't get to Reading, so have lost a customer to another rep and am concerned as to who took my book down there in the first place and never told me!

Evening ladies....

Blimey aureol that's very strange?!? I too would be a bit concerned as to how it got there although maybe someone who originally got given it took it with them to pass to a friend in Reading? That person may of had a buggy that it fell out of or a bag and then someone picked it up thinking it was from the shop?? Hmmmm very strange!

I'm hoping you ladies can help... I have my order on line ready to go tomorrow however, there are blanks next to a few items and no tick, cross or yellow dot, so what does that mean? Any ideas?

Yep inaminute, I did think someone locally took it with them when they went visiting Reading but couldn't understand why it was in a shop? But like you said maybe it fell out, got left somewhere. Wouldn't mind but even if I had a car, it would not be worth petrol money for me to go there for 1 customer

Don't worry about the blank spaces, just a glitch in the system. In a couple of days when order is live, you will be able to check what is in stock.

Not too sure. I had some on my order tonight too. Im guessing Avon havent decided if they have stock or not.

Happened before and I got everything, so I just try not to worry too much. Yesterday all of my SSS bug sprays were on Yellow dots. Not happy about that one, but today all is fine. One of my reps had a red cross on her order yesterday, but today it was a green tick.

Ive given up with it. Ive also ordered stuff which was green ticked and it never came. said it was out of stock.

Pot luck if you ask me.

Order management finished for tonight. I have one out of area new rep placing her first order on Tuesday. Doing T2 for that one on Saturday.
So far had at least 3 reps place orders over £350.
C9 not as bad as I thought. Bring on the Fergie in C10

no, lol, I wrote that in, she told me a real street address,which I am going to be looking at.

Sorry to butt in, but I wonder if you could possibley clear up something for me.

There is a notice on the Avon SL forum with a Trainee SL from scotland stating that she has ordered a shed load of DEMO products from HT and samples for a party she held.

Now having done the party she wants to return all of the DEMO on a code 53!

I understand that DEMO items are not for resale to customers, and therefore as code 53 is surplus stock could not sell, she could get into trouble with this return. It also clearly states that these items are not for resale in HT.

I understood that we buy DEMO items at a slightly discounted rate for the purpose of demonstrating to customers and likely for our own personal use. Not just to order, open try and then just send back after 1 camp.

Or ladies, am I missing a trick here?
