Got an email from the caretaker ASM reminding me to order today, but no mention of the extra territory I have asked for or offer of help I asked for. I'm not ordering today anyway, good thing about Friday deadline means I can order Sunday and try and get a few more orders in before then.

Found a book outside one of my territory houses yesterday but it's not a problem as it was f+f phew! There are just too many reps in this village

Got a load of streets (139 Houses) and a big batch of C8 brochures. Looking forward to doing my first canvas on Monday.

OK a couple of questions:
I would like to put in an introductory flyer introducing myself and maybe mentioning Outspoken and asking if they would like a sample with their next brochure. Good Idea?

Someone also mentioned adding some tick boxes asking if they would like to receive another brochure or something like that (I can't find the actual post). Is this a good idea? what questions do you put on it?

Anybody else have ideas for introductory flyers?

On a personal note. I saw Christian Lacroix Noir EDT with toiletry bag and body wash(?) it's £18 in C8 is it still available in C9? If so what price?

Is anyone ordering the OUTSPOKEN money maker? if so how many bottles are you ordering? im not sure how many to get...ive printed up flyer and i am going to order lots of samples! i think it could do well...it smells lovely and looks lovely! any ideas

Welcome to Avon if this is your first order (i assume it is)
The welcome note is always a good idea. Just tell them who you are, and where you are if you are local.

Tick boxes i am indifferent about, where as it can save time and books, it can also encourage customers to just chuck the book on the step without even looking. I just leave books till they tell me not to or i dont get one back for 3 campaigns.

Christian Larcoix is £18 in C9 + C10 but without the extras.

dont fret, you can back order from your previous book, ask your asm or SL when they help you put on your first order. Easier to be shown but if you cant get a hold of them (on the left of the order page is box, with 9 in it and arrow to drop down. click on arrow and will show you 8 as well. click on 8 and then just enter the product code as normal)

I only ordered 3 money makers as ive never done them before. but ordered 15 packs of samples and have flyers too.

See how we get on. apparently we can back order the money makers anyway.

I've ordered 7 and am planning a huge advertising pitch to all my f&f and customers!! And then if that doesn't work a big recanvas!! Have ordered 25 samples so they can go to all my customers. Will probably point them out rather than just putting them in the brochure bags.

I'm really quite annoyed tonight. I've been trying to get in touch with the area rep to find out why she gave me a route someone else was doing, but only got her mobile. She tried to call back once but I was driving, but I've heard nothing since.

I've been working all day, and then spent an hour collecting in the brochures, of course there were no orders, because the other rep had collected them all yesterday, plus she took quite a few of my books with her too, so I'm short on books now. :mad:

Oh dear Fiver29, I'm sorry you're having such a bad first impression of Avon! It's not typical, but having said that, confusion can occur over territory. I'm not a Sales Leader myself, so not completely familiar with how the system works, but I gather it's done on a mapping system which can throw up glitches. Please bear with your Sales Leader (or Area Manager) while they sort out the problem, and hopefully you will then be up and running. Good luck with it.

Does anyone remember from the last 'The Smart Woman's Secret' whether or not we get commission when ordering from it (I have a feeling, perhaps not?) However, it is still cheaper than the brochure and there is a free nail varnish with each product ordered :T With that in mind, I've done a flyer promoting the MagiX products and Glazewear lipglosses - the more I can sell, the more freebies :j If anyone would like a copy, just PM me your email addy.

Pretty sure we did get earnings last time, particularly as they want us to use these mini booklets to get new customers wouldn't be much of an incentive for us if we didn't get any earnings from it!
