Worst experience of my life. The majority of you have had bad some kind of bad experience with Right Choice. This is minor compared to what I have been through. Yes Put in a claim and you will see what kind of a Scumbag company this is. Yes Right Choice I hope you're reading this because I have had enough of your games and the way you have treated me like ****. Such a bad experience I would not even wish upon my enemy! My brand new car gets stolen (relay theft) from my Driveway in May 2018. Keys returned - settlement figure ~£40k made in August 2018. Since August till now NOTHING. It has been nearly 1 year with no payout. Every time I contact them - "we are waiting for a Police Report. The police unfortunately are known to take their time" Now nearly 1 year on - no replies from them at all. Very scared they may go bankrupt. Anybody with similar atrocities or advice??0

I have been driving for 10plus years and have never felt so compelled to tell people to stay away from a service that I google and leave a scathing review on every possible platform.
Terrible, I chose them because they were cheap, but Lord do I regret it. I am finishing university and I was in the last three months of my degree, I had the address of my home on my address but not where the car will be staying. I advised them of this when I bought the insurance over the phone and they were fine. They simply asked for the log book to be scanned over, I thought okay. Never been asked to that before, but I have a scanner at home so why not. The next day they say it's not good enough they want previous insurance details, I find them and email them over. No more than an hour later they call asking me why the addressing don't match and I will need to change my address on my license to be insured or they will cancel my insurance. I explain I'm in uni accommodation and my mothers/my home address is on the license and there is no point in changing which the person was fine with yesterday. The customer rep says it's changed, (within 24hrs mind you). I change my address on my license which takes 3weeks, and then they say my car log book has to be changed to my uni accommodation too! I was fuming, everything they had said was fine was no longer and I was moving within 2months after all the back and forth. A further month down the line, I have changed my log book and license and so far nothing has come back to me, although they have said when I move back to my mothers (in a months time) I should change the address again on both license and logbook, but there might be an admin fee as the month is twice within 6months! Of course, it is - you told me to change everything - idiotic scummy morons!.
NIGHTMARE COMPANY!! DO NOT GO THERE!!! I shan't ever again!! :mad:1 -
Boy, do I wish I done my homework on this lot before I purchased a car insurance policy with them. Got a quote from a comparison site and thought it would be plain sailing as previous experience I had buying car insurance was, but oh no. Paid the deposit of £160 supposed to be £140 but apparently they take £20 for admin charge, ok fine then the day after I receive an email they need copies of my driving license and proof of address they say I can email this to them which I did, I’ve never been asked for this before though from any other
company but hey ho, then 2 days later another email this time asking about why I had a gap in my policy (previous car was scrapped) explained it took me some time to buy new car a car I need for the purpose of family use. Ok then they ask for proof of previous NCB sent that now they want to know where my previous car was kept, if it was taxed or SORNED it was taxed until I was told it was knackered round about the time my previous policy was coming to an end sent them proof of sorn and also of my no claims now they’ve served me a 7 day notice of cancellation after I had called them last week and them telling me everything was fine with what they have received, they have since taken their 1st instalment and it was the day later I received the email of intent to cancel I really don’t know what to do here any advice would be helpful.1 -

Whenever you are not happy with your insurance company the route to go down is a complaint in line with their complaints procedure
Then if you are not happy with the reply or they ignore you for 8 weeks you can escalate to the FOS for their adjudication at no cost to you
Well worth pursuing and trying to get this cancellation reversed
As you will discover, having a cancelled policy to disclose does make it hard to get cover as most online companies simply refuse to quote1 -
Non receipt of documents, everything they asked for I sent to them.1

Hello! Please HELP! I’ve fallen foul to the awful dealings of this company.
On the 15th June this company came up the cheapest on confused so went ahead. Paid the deposit all appeared well to start that day. Received a phone call on Wednesday 19th June to state the premium would go up by £250 because of ‘incorrect details’ which I had checked and double checked before confirming.
My husband said to cancel there response was we owed them additional money on top of the £100 deposit we had already paid for the time ‘on cover’. However technically if our details are incorrect then were we covered?
It’s been 5 days and we haven’t received any further confirmation with a cover letter/certificate etc or anything listing the new premium only the previous demand for 7 documents which had to be received in 14 days.
Where do we stand? We don’t want this policy!! Especially not now having read the damning reviews. We are still within the 14 day cooling period but my worry is are we even insured now? Any advice would be gratefully received!1 -
What are the incorrect details?0

Is there anyone who has good experience with these?0

Another RCIB victim here currently being put through the mangle.
I too picked the cheapest quote and completed online. Only to get an email next day for an additional £92 for under quoted mileage. I haven't, but based on historical MOT's they can predict the future..
Anyway I've refused to pay any more for an amended policy. Either they sell the policy I was quoted or retract the offer. Their compromise was to switch me to a fixed mileage contract. I have to email a photo of my odometer every month
PITA but I'll role with it.
I've had no updated policy documents so god knows if I'm covered.
Most disturbing however during validation call was the guy asking where the gate on my house was. He was obviously looking at my house on google images in real time.
Something tells me my RCIB journey isn't over yet!
