He's not called Arnie now
He's called Percy! I preferred Arnie if I'm honest but will keep my mouth pegged.
Stopped in town on the way home and got the hair dye. Time to do my roots! £6.92 so a saving of... £38.08 from last month  Crikers! So having a DIY(ish) pamper sesh today. Doing my hair, then my Mum is going to play with the Konad kit on my nails. Such a hard life!
Forgot to say I've withdrawn £10 from one of the bingo sites. Ta-daa!0 -

Hi
Been quite busy at work today. Everytime I clicked this box up the phone rang or something, so I might get this typed up now!
On the money front, I checked my Quidco account this morning and managed to snag the £25 LoveFilm cashback. Things are still looking hopeful for getting my £50 Orange cashback on Friday too *crosses fingers* Decided I'll be putting that into the 'big spends' account as my wish list is constantly getting longer. This and this are todays lustings. Hmph! This iPad is never going to happen.
Not much else bar that! Looking forward to going home and taking my dog for a walk before tea. Getting an early night tonight, been finding it really hard to wake up in the mornings recently. Off work tomorrow morning though so it won't be too bad if I do oversleep. Although I want to go to town, drop my book off at the library and a little shop to do in Boots. For 'essentials' before I get a telling off!0 -
Yay, I love cashback - it's definitely one of the best things I've discovered on MSE. Cinny, where do you even find these things?! You really need a job in the beauty industry! Any more nice freebies recently?LBM Sep 2008 debt: £27,927.04start weight: 140.2, week 2: 1380

The first because I'm obsessed with having perfect clear skin and the second because my lashes are kind of stubby and I want lovely long ones
Decided I'm saving for the skincare stuff over the iPad now. Although I'd love one, I really do love beauty stuff more. Still doing pretty well with not buying any though. Can't remember the last time I bought any toiletries for myself, bar essentials (razors, wax, dye ect!) Really need to update my list at some point, my Brothers girlfriend has taken a lot off me.
My Mum is trying to convince me to do some sort of beauty training so I can work with her though. She's just signed onto a course for Fake Bake tanning which I'm super excited about, I get to steal the products to try and get free tans! Will be another great base for her company too of course..0 -
Cinny I think it could be a good career move - you certainly seem more enthusiastic about beauty stuff than you do about accounts! And even baking these days! I'm off into town today looking for beauty stuff - apparently some Boots have £3 Tweezerman tweezers so going to see if I can find some here, and my friend said she saw some Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs stuff in B&M Bargains so going to trot off to there too as I really want to try it. Want to be able to bare my legs without blinding people this summer if possible!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0

Do you have a Home Bargains nearby? They sell St Mortis tanning mousse for about £2.99 and that's really good. Just as good as St Tropez but obviously a lot cheaper. I used it last summer and as I'm really pale it just gave me a healthy looking tan. That's if you can't find the airbrush thingy
Beauty is something I look into just about every year when the leaflets come out. But I don't think I'd want to do it as a career - I do really get into it but it's more like a hobby/interest. Like with my baking, I think I'd lose my oomph if I did it day after day.
Waiting to go into town now. Was meant to go at 9 but I came downstairs and found Percy all on his lonely, so I puppy sat for a while instead. He tried to eat my knees. But now by the time I get into town and back I won't have chance to make myself some dinner before work so I'll have to grab a sandwich from the bakers. My Sister is faffing around still, and I don't want to leave him alone. He constantly looks sad!
ETA: Just checked my clubcard balance and I have 942 pointsThinking I might just get to 1500 on my card for the Drayton Manor tickets. Just need a good points offer and I'm there!

That St Moritz stuff is exactly what my friend had been in there buying, after two glowing recommendations, might give that a go if I can't find the SH stuff. But now you've got me wondering if it was Home Bargains of B&M Bargains she said? We have both, but at opposite ends of town...
Poor Percy does have a sad sort of face - will make the old ladies go weak at the knees when he's out and aboutWeightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
Woops, Sorry for confusing you Tete! I have a B&M and Home Bargains in my town and I've never seen St Mortiz in B&M. But then maybe your friend went into B&M for it and that's how she found the Airbrush stuff instead?! I'm probably just adding the confusion now arent i?
Percy has been practising his cuteness today though. I took him out front to do what doggies do and a group of school girls still 'awwwwed' at him mid poop  maybe TMI but it's true!
Anywho, got back from town and my Mums Fake Bake stuff had already come. That's pretty neat service! But look at it all!!
Ended up blowing my budget in Boots and spent £25. Not completely on essentialsReally wanted something for under my eyes, as I'm starting to get dark circles and general blahh stuff that comes with no longer being able to get away without sleep. They had the Garnier roll ons at 2 for £12 which I've wanted to try for a while now, so I got this and this. The rest was essentials though; facial wipes, hair be-gone stuff ect! Still have £20 in my bank account though, which will be moved into the Big Spends account if it lasts till payday. Which it should, if I'm good. Need to get my MSE head back on when it comes to spending but it's so hard when there's so many pretty things.
