He's had one jab, so one more to go and he's ready for walkies!

Went to the tattooing place with my Sister and She forgot to put numbing cream on so was in complete pain (her tattoo is on her hipbone though ) We've have decided to get matching tattoos though. On our wrist in a nice writing like this in some translation of 'Sisters' either in Italian or Dutch. She kindly suggested I pay for it as her Birthday present. Which is next month (well, June) so kind of works.

Had a wander around town too, and managed not to spend anything. Want to go put some petrol in Ol'Greg tonight though about £20 or so as OH filled his car up after getting paid so there's no room for me to put any in.. sadly.. :A

Keep on telling myself the weekend is over, but it isn't!!

Had a nice weekend though, ended up at the seaside with OH yesterday which = £30 from the holiday account and £20 from my bank account. Plus £1.16 bank charges (really need to go to a free cash point before getting to the front!) and £2.65 on an iced latte for the drive. Yum!

Spent £10.75 in Tescos today - two pairs of shorts for summer/camping and some pumps for work with the 25% off offer. Been wanting the shorts and shoes for a while now, so glad I held off for a bit.

Not up to much tomorrow. It's Charter Day in town, but I'm really into my book atm so I'm going to read that instead :o Will take my dog out for a walk though - to test the fitflops!

    Have a nice evening :)

Cinny, I blame you for my pain! I was in the library on Saturday browsing innocently for a Saturday night DVD and I came across the 30 day shred (you know what's coming...) so I thought I'd take it home and have a little go...

OMG, the pain!! I'm 3 days in and walking like John Wayne but I love a little challenge and it must be doing me some good, right? I'm not expecting to lose 20lbs (20lbs in 30 days is nuts!) but a little chunk would be nice :) It would make the 'having to walk down stairs sideways because I've overdone my squats' thing more bearable :D

How are the fitflops going? I'm v jealous that you can take your pups for walkies and it counts as exercise! How's Percy?

LOL Poddle! I really don't know if I should try that DVD or not! I'm scared but really want to trim a few (several!) lbs now, especially after watching back to back Brooke Knows Best yesterday and feeling very jealous of her flat stomach and sitting up this morning looking down at my stomach that is looking a little too much like Pooh Bear's belly!

Sounds like you had a nice weekend Cinny, how were the FitFlops?

The fitflops are good, I haven't walked a long distance in them so I can't really feel them doing anything. But they are sooo comfy! Haven't had any problems with them rubbing between my toes though.

Okay, the 30 day shred sounds scary! It'll be worth it though Poddle, keep at it! :) The John Wayne swagger just means you're doing it right. Percy is lovely though, in a complete terror kind of way. He even made friends with Pippin, who normally just 'smacks' the other dogs if they get too close sniffing.

Had fun yesterday though, I was looking into doing 1940s hairstyles. Which led to makeup, with sprung into me doing full on fancy dress for the afternoon. Did a blog post here.

Going shopping at the Beauty Wholesalers tomorrow. Want to get some better stuff for doing retro hairstyles and I want to get some salon hair colour. My roots have already faded and I'm back to orange!

Moved £100 out of my ISA though, so that's down to £600 now. Needed new leggings (The cheap ones from Primarni all ripped so I 'upgraded' which will hopefully last longer) also got a couple new tops. Which weren't as needed, but one was a denim shirt I've been lusting after for ages that was on sale and two basic but very pretty tops. Spent £70, and I can mix them all around to create a weeks worth of outfits. So only really £10 an outfit... Anywho. That's my justification. Plus I had a dream Saturday night that the world really did end in 2012 and I thought 'heck, I don't need savings!' :o

LOL at the dream! I had a crazy dream on Sunday (which I blame on the late night cheese on toast that OH fed me!) where I had twins but my Mum only let me keep one and hid the other one in a drawer and he was teeny because he was so underfed and unloved. He was called Ben and I was in mourning for my little drawer baby all day yesterday! I sometimes struggle to separate dreams from real life...

How cute are you dressing up! You look lovely though! I remember watching a youtube video by Pursebuzz.com (I love her, I can watch her hair demos for hours!) and she did awesome 40's rolls on top of her head, I keep meaning to try it! My task for tonight is to play with my curling tongs because when I was in Selfridges I had my hair curled with this gizmo (although they wanted £89 for it!!!!!) and I was wondering if I just don't stick my hair in the clip on my existing tongs and pretend it's like the one they used I'll get the same results...

Aww, poor Ben!! :( I hate dreams like that though, when something really creepy happens and it stays with you all the next day! The worst is when I have a dream that my OH has cheated on me, and then I'm peed off with him all day because of it :o

Hmm, I think it would be worth a try with the tongs! £89 for that is mental!! I've heard really good things about the Babyliss one though !click!

My OH has a dream about every 6 weeks that I leave him and he's always super cuddly and clingy the next day, bless him!

Oooh the Babyliss tong thingy is a bargain! It looks like a good back-up if mine doesn't do what I want it to do! Although it probably won't be the tong's fault, it'll be me because I'm useless with hair!

OH has dreams where I leave him but just says 'I knew it was too good to be true!' :( meanie!

Don't be silly, tongs are really easy to use you'll be fine! :D Is it beachy kind of curls you're after?

Yeah, I can do the big glam curls with my hot rollers but I want something in between the big curls of my rollers and the waves of my spin curl dryer (for someone who is useless with hair I have a lot of gadgets!) so I want to make nice loose beachy curls. Also I just saw this hairstyle on the weddings board and I want to replicate it now!
