  • The money has yet to leave my account, but I have the email saying my purchase was succesful...kind of worried that I may have missed out for some reason. Mind you, won't be THAT bothered as it was only a quid.

Anyone else in the same boat as me??

I have a confirmatory email and the total sum is due as pending on my VISA account.

Thanks for this tip Martin, it's a great saving.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

  • Money hasn't left my account yet, but I did get the confirmation email so not worried.
Thanks for this tip, Martin. Like many others I've cut out cinema trips so with my own smuggled in popcorn this will make a great treat!

Glad to hear someone else smuggles popcorn into the cinema too, how can they justify drinks and popcorn costing almost the same as the tickets themselves

picnic lol i always rember mum taking me to the cinema and she took bacon butties:rotfl:
Not long ago in the local paper a man got his food took off him in our cinema because he had a rucksack full so discret is key. Hubby and son have lots of food intolerances so can't have the food in cinemas so i will always take our own in but hidden.

Just got an email saying my payment was successful and that the cancellation email was sent in error. Whoop!

Me too! And after I'd whinged on here as well. I guess it was the sheer volume of applications or something.

    Excellent!

I remember when we got caught trying to sneak sweets in whilst my wife was very visibly pregnant. She just grabbed them back of the poor lad and with a look that could kill said, "I am pregnant and need them for my sugar levels" :rotfl:
He didn't argue and I can't say I blame him.

Thanks for this offer btw. It's great and like some previous posters have said, let's just give them a chance :T
