Oh honey-pie just seen this!
I hope youve woke up feeling better today and ready to battle on?
Jeez I know what you mean about wanting it all to stop, the last couple of weeks for me have been awful.
Hun, did you think any more about getting a job? ONly I think having one, even if its part time, would be good, you know something for you, and a little escape from everything else - something just for you? Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
You seem so low at the moment, keep hanging on in there, remember the only way is up,,, Good Luck:beer: Keep your Chin up.. it can only get better
I'm one of those people who was born to have money,

There is a saying, nothing lasts forever, and that's very true, everything will pass in time. Except the pain of losing someone you love, because I think a little bit of that pain does hang around forever. Yesterday was the aniversary of both my mother's and my grandmother's deaths, and I so wanted to et in the car and drive the 120 miles to put flowers on their graves, but I couldnt afford it. So I understand how money, thinking about money and feeling it's taken over your life feels. But this will pass.
So your crap at accounts, join the club hon, I am shocking at it. My book keeper (who is an essential otherwise the tax man would have a shoe box of receipts as my books) despairs at me sometimes. But, I am useless, I told her that when she took me on, I am good at other things, just not accounting (or making sure all invoices, statements etc are in the right place). I actually don't know anyone who started a business being good at this stuff, some learn, most like me, bail out and say sod that, I am getting someone else to do it. But most of us start out hopeless. I am sure you are not that bad anyway.
It sounds to me like you and hubby need a bit of a treat, spend some time doing something other than thinking of money. Go for a long walk together, take a picnic, go see a movie anything, just relax together for a few hours. We all need that, even us people in debt.
Big hugs, I hope you feel better today

Dottyanne - Right stop that talk now!
STep one - go and have a good cry in the shower.
Step two - pick out an outfit that youwould normally save for a special day, put some make up on and do your hair.
Step 3 - go downstairs and make yourself a big mug of tea, coffee or hot chocolate.
Step 4 - put on a dvd, video or watch a bit of telly and turn your phone off for half an hour and clear your mind for half an hour. If you dont want to sit inside then how about phone a friend whilst in the garden and have a good ol' chat about anything but money.
Step 5 - you are now refreshed and ready to tackle the world again!
I have had sh*tloads go on in my life recently so whatever you think you are not alone.
Remember we are all here even though you cant see our faces or hear our voices etc.

Hey dottyanne, would have posted yesterday but was in hospital. Can't offer much practical money advice (about to start my own cccs dmp - not that great with money.......), but i am sorry to hear you are feeling so down. I know it ain't easy when you owe alot of it, but try not to lt money become everything - i felt really obsessed with my debt a while back, and it was getting me down too, but my trick to deal with it is to put in one compartment in my head (if you see what i mean), and not let it creep out and ruin other things - i have one morning a week set aside to pay bills, worry about money etc, then i try to put it out of mind the rest of the time.If i get a bill through the post on a non money morning, i put it away until money day. It sounds cheesy self helpy, but write a list of all the good things sbout you and your life, even seemingly silly little things, and keep it to hand to read when you feel low. In the same place keep somthing to inspire you, a picture of the place you want to take a holiday when you are debt free, that sort of thing.Don't feel guilty for feeling down, big hugs and best wishes.xx0
