Frustrating Ebay buyers

P+P charge clearly listed on the auction so why bid if not happy with it ?
Plus combined p+p so they only paid one lot of p+p anyway.
Items were posted exactly how I said they would be (1st class recorded) so nothing hidden there.
Just baffled - havent replied as yet cos not sure how to word "it was described exactly as it is so how have i made the description make the card sound better than it is and the photo was the item itself scanned in so not sure how the photo has made the item look better than it is"
LOL. I'm not disagreeing, just saying folk are odd with their gripes. Look at the threads that start on here, re moaning about postage even though they bid and agreed on the price! Whatever it was, he feels it was expensive as he uses that word. So he seems miffed on those grounds to me, the 'quality' could just be him justifying to himself that he is entitled to moan.0 -

Maybe the title of this thread should be changed to Frustrating Ebay Sellers who demand immediate payment because they don't understand how ebay works0

Oh, yes they all do this!
I have had such a high rate of non payers lately, one or two for every dozen things I sell, that I am naturally suspicious of those who don't pay within 24hrs. They are invariably the ones who don't pay at all. Which is just a waste of everybody's time.
I don't mind people not paying instantly, but its much easier for me as a seller if they do. I ask in the listing that payment be made withind 5 days but also state that I can be flexible as long as they get in touch and explain if they can't pay within that time.
I think that is the issue - communication. If the buyer is waiting for funds or whatever, they should message & say they will be paying in X days, is that OK? But with no info, the seller is wondering if the transaction is going through or not & could have re-listed or second chanced the item.
I treat "late" payers, and I include those who do not reply to any emails & only pay up whan a dispute is opened, just like non-payers. No feedback at all & usually block them for the future.0 -
i pay acouple of days later as i need time tom put the money on my card no one seems to have a problem with itReplies to posts are always welcome, If I have made a mistake in the post, I am human, tell me nicely and it will be corrected. I had a complaint from a seller that I had paid TOO EARLY!!:rotfl:She gave me negative feedback because I had paid before she asked me too and then tried to give me a refund minus her "expenses". She then raised a dispute and I won :j0

sellers cant give negative feedback anymore (or was this before it all changed)0

It was two years ago. The point was that she complained about me paying "too early", rejected my payment and then opened a dispute to try to force me to accept her "refund"! She was the worst seller I've ever dealt with! She was unhappy with the winning bid and wanted to cancel the auction after it had completed. After the dispute was resolved, she relisted it and got pretty much the same price, so she gained nothing.
As she lost the dispute, would she still have to pay Ebay's charges?0
