Toffee, have you also considered that people often now bid from their mobile phones? There are ebay apps out there for iphone and Android phones, but paying through Paypal on a phone is trickier and probably best left until in front of a computer screen (certainly on my phone!)

    Thanks -that made me laugh:T

PS - still waiting - and i am always very polite - even when i don't want to me - tis the way i was brung up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Waiting still?! Oh my goodness. I'm usually always polite too. I have a little rant about it to the cat and then put my gracious head back on. Fingers crossed for your payment, but the longer they take the more likely they'll never pay in my experience. :(

    Thats two words :p

    Sorry :)

You're quite right. How embarrassing. :o:p It had the terse one word answer "vibe" though. (At least that's going to be the excuse I stick to. :D)

I had someone buy it now on five items the other day, pay for them all, then buy one more but hasn't paid for it! And she must have received the other stuff by now because I posted it out the next morning. Two payment reminders so far, so annoying!

My favourite buyers are the ones who take 7 days to pay & then demand instant delivery!!

    :( Still waiting patiently

PS - I didn't mention the third item - was a vacuum cleaner - 99p! and collect in person only - do you reckon the person from Portsmouth will pay and pick it up soon? I live in North Wales!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D I have actually sent them an e-mail asking them to confirm they don't want it so I can take it to my local charity shop

I had this - a buyer took 6 weeks to pay,I had opened the Unpaid item dispute and she sent me an email really apologetically etc etc about why she hadn't paid, and then made payment. She had paid on the Sunday and opened a dispute for item not received the next day. Ridiculous!!!

Try and work this one out - Sold 2 father's day cards to one person, combined postage so knocked off the p+p from one card.

Bearing in mind, auction finish 12 Mar, was paid for on 15 Mar, posted on 15 Mar and arrived there today 16 Mar

Message today says - I received the cards today but am quite disappointed. The picture and description made them appear better than they were as did the expensive postage charge.

Not quite sure how the picture and description made them appear better than they were
    Design - The Full English
    Company - The Art Group

    Size - 158mm x 156mm
    Colour of envelope - Red

    Comes in sealed cellophane packet.
Message inside reads - Happy Father's Day

Might be the P&P charge rather than the cards themselves. People have strange ways of explaining their gripes.

P+P charge clearly listed on the auction so why bid if not happy with it ?
Plus combined p+p so they only paid one lot of p+p anyway.
Items were posted exactly how I said they would be (1st class recorded) so nothing hidden there.

Just baffled - havent replied as yet cos not sure how to word "it was described exactly as it is so how have i made the description make the card sound better than it is and the photo was the item itself scanned in so not sure how the photo has made the item look better than it is"
