Thanks Marshallka,
Intended to get my complaint sent off to FOS today, but the past few days have left me so stressed I just could not face it. Will hopefully pull everything together this weekend and get to the Post Office on Monday.

my complaint about nortons who were the broker for my first plus loan has been with FOS for 12 months and they have just sent me a reply saying they cannot help as loan in 2004 :mad::mad::mad:
But have asked for the actual insurers name and are looking into that route......0 -

Great news re Tmarshall win :j
FOS have let me know that they agree that Norton were regulated at time of sale.:T
They cannot understand why two years ago my complaint was returned to me saying they were not regulated! head .....!!!!....
Norton tried to say that because i resubmitted my complaint to FOS after 2 years that it was outside the time limit, FOS dont agree and are writing to tell them this
HA poke in the eye to Norton:cool:
I just hope it doesnt take another 2 years for the complaint to be passed to an adjudicator.... more waiting i wonder if it costs them more the longer the wait????“most people give up just as they are about to achieve success”If you think you are going through hell keep going - Sir Winston ChurchillIf You Can't Change It, Change the Way You Think About It.SW, 13st5lb, -4 1/2, -1,(12st13.5lbs)0 -

Any insurance sold after the 14 january, 2005 had to be within FOS jurisdiction as ALL insurance sold after was regulated (and if it was not that is illegal I think!!!) so I would now get fos to fast track your complaint also. It was not your fault you given wrong advice by either Norton or FOS. I am sure they will understand if you ask. FOS sometimes only listen to what the firms tell them about jursidiction and dismiss complaints without first checking themselves.

I agree with Marshallka, request for fast track, as it could have been your case would have been dealt with by now.
Good luck.:beer:The one and only "Dizzy Di"

Any ideas how best to do this,
I did send a letter with the complaint saying hope it would be fast tracked but no mention of it, perhaps i could send another letter.
I may even send a letter to their complaints department
