TBH Brown does more for me than Blair does....in the good looking stakes. I mean, not that he does anything, just in a ''your trapped in a room with brown/blair and there is only one way out....'' sort of thing.

I actually feel disappointed in brown though, it was exactly that I thought he'd bring some dignity nd gravitas back to the role that seemed to have become celebrity central, that mad me feel he was by far the lesser ''ill'' of two undesirable choices. I wanted him to do this.

My wife once said I looked a bit like Gordon Brown.

I was so hurt that I accused her of having the dress sense of Susan Boyle.

presumably this is because a 2:1 in history and a network of posh mates doesn't actually qualify you to run an economy

Good point ninky. Gordon's been running the UKs finances with just his history degree and look what a mess the UK is now compared to when he took over!

We need people with maths degrees to run the countries financies.
RENTING? Have you checked to see that your landlord has permission from their mortgage lender to rent the property? If not, you could be thrown out with very little notice.

I would go for accountancy myself. Otherwise they will just be very quick at working out the deficit instead of trying to ballance it. :)

Banks [STRIKE]employ [/STRIKE] use to employ, economists. Lots of the interviews now are more maths based.

I was trying to avoid saying it has been the Scots that messed up the UKs finances. Lets blame the degrees instead:D
