I'm not going to lie and say it doesn't hurt, because it does, but it is a LOT quicker than having your legs waxed, and if you put some aloe vera gel, sudocream or something similar on (I have the banana boat aftersun gel), the redness should have gone down by the next day, or even that evening. I've only ever had a normal bikini wax (no hollywoods or brazilians here), so can't can't advise about specialised waxing. I would recommend 2 days before or 3 if you've never had it done before, as it may be a bit more sensitive the first time round. The skin will definitely be a lot smoother than when you have your legs waxed. I often find that because some of my leg hair has got a bit finer, that it tends to just break off at skin level rather than at the roots, so can feel a bit stubbly. I normally just use a tweezer to get any that have been missed this way. It's hard to see some of mine because they are quite fair at the roots.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.
I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/2017

    hey everyone.
    hope you are all ok!
all this talk of waxing sounds uncomfortable!! I am def not having anything like that done... am going to have to find something nice for the wedding night though, even though i cant imagine wanting to do much - could not feel anyless sexy at the moment! So good luck to everyone who goes through with it!!
Is anyone having tans etc? i was thinking about liking a bit of colour because i do feel more confident when have a tan - but i dont want it to look too much.
i have got little eye lashes so was thinking bout treating myself to having some of the individual lashes put in that last a week or so...may have to find out how much and have a test run.

I am feeling very happy with everything wedding wise at the moment - things feel like they come together! Me and OH sat for like 6 hours sunday going over everything as long over due from moving. sorted a lot there.

I have sorted BM dresses - they trying them on sunday and i have had enough, the look nice so will only need to perhaps change size...i can not be dealing with all the hassel with finding other things! may seem harsh, but they got to like it!!
flower girl dresses were delivered today and am very pleased too - just need get them try it on (fingers crossed fits!) we got few bits for our photo corner - giant glasses, a disney castle scene setter which is like just over 5foot tall!!:j very excited about that for the wall! GM shirts and ties are all got now too! Its all good!!
am very excited as we also have got Mickey and Minnie Wedding hat/ears coming this week!! its a big surprise for everyone who will be there - we not sure when to put them on..perhaps for the first dance for a bit! lol. (sorry picture is big)

We also sorted buffet out - OH boss doing it for us, give the money we have which is £200 and going to do so much for us. going to get hot plates and cook big bits of pork/gammon/ all fancy and have it sliced and hot like a hog roast, fresh rolls and salad, pasta salads, couscous, quiche etc. So much more than thought we were going to have and will hopefully look good too! I know if me and OH had time and chance to we could done a big spread for £200, but we cant use the kitchen at the rugby club and would have no where to store bits and the catering companies we looked into are charging £7 upwards pp for buffet and not anything spectacular for it either!

sorry its such a long post - OH is out and i will burst if dont tell someone everything!! lol.

    hope everyone is ok x
:heart2:Married my Prince Charming on 15th April 2011 - perfect day!

Curlylou-LOL! to those Mikey Mouse wedding hats-what a cool idea!!
Re the eyelashe extensions, a friend of mine had them done for a party and would never recommend it. They looked stunning for a few days, but within a week had started to snap off and left her with even shorter eyelashes than before!
I've got a make up artist doing my make up (found by my Dad!!) and I'm going to ask her about fake eyelashes, but not the extensions. I'm also toying with the idea of a fake tan, I look so pasty at the moment! Must see about having a trial done...

I have never had a fake tan and am not going to do so for the wedding! Also never waxed down below, although I occasionally pluck...

Anyhow hair and make up trial tonight, getting really nervous for some reason.

aarchk - your dress is so beautiful! and with your cathedral length veil you will look stunning!

Well yesterday was 2 months to go!! 58 days today! Getting scarily close now :)

I have my hair trial on Saturday and my mum has booked the hair appointment on the day for 8am! I think I will have to have a bucks fizz as it'll b breakfast time instead of a glass of wine!

Just ordered the chocolate dragee favours, the best man's gift and my Dad's gift. Going to get OH to go and collect my Brothers and his Dad's gift later so that will be all the gifts and favours brought:j

My mum rang the shop I got my dress from to sort my brother and Dad for their suit fitting yesterday (suits in the same store) and she enquired about my dress as I haven't heard anything yet and its due back to teh shop beginning of Feb so any day now and I will get my phone call!! I still need to do major weight loss, just over 8 weeks to go and I would like to lose 8lb or so (more if poss but wanna b realistic) My dress doesn't hide anything so I have a feeling I might need some magic underwear to suck me in a bit haha

Not much to sort now, but I just know I will have a frantic March, especially as I will lose a week as DS has his MDA at the hospital so my mind will be focused on that all week!

Thanks for all your comments on my dress - love having it admired especially as have had a bit of a love/hate relationship with it (in my heart I know I should have gone with an easier style - large breasts + no internal boning = nightmare). Currently worrying about the petticoat. Am gutted I deleted the pics with the veil! Am taking camera to trial tonight and will be very careful downloading them...

    Sammr85 - 2 months ...eeeeek!!!!!
