Am sure you will do it well Linda! Ian Stuart dresses are fabulous...
Thanks for the comments re: posies. I think it will be fine. Cant got for just long stems as we are having mixed wildflower style bouquets, but I think if I remove the expensive Dolce Vita roses from theirs and make them half the size of mine I can save a few pounds! I decided I wanted fresh flowers in my hair so trying to adjust the costings... Meeting with the florist on saturday to finalise the order.
Had an RSVP from a mad aunt on my dads side of the family, none of whom are invited apart from her, her child and partner and my dad. She put a PS on the end asking if I had all the addresses I needed. My thoughts are 'Well yes I did thank you auntie, all the people on my Christmas card list were invited, just no one from your side as I dont have any contact with them'. This will blow up into a massive row just before the wedding, it did just before my sisters, dreading it... familes eh?0 -
sexymouse-they all look yum. It reminded me of my favourite ever sandwich..roasted vegetables with humus.
To all you ladies wanting the RSVP's to come back quicker...we still haven't sent our invitations out!!

hi everyone hope you might be able to help - i am having a bird theme for my wedding and am going to have a two tier wedding cake just as normal and then for the top tier I want to have meringue nests into which i could put some eggs (mini eggs perhaps) and some kind of white wooden bird (this is the best i can describe what's in my head at the minute!) - been trying to look online for for the birds and am really hitting a brick wall - i dont want a fluffy or feathered bird, and some of the bird cake toppers i have seen are too big, and mostly too expensive!! anyone got an ideas??Wins so far - £50 Faith voucher, Lindt chocolate box worth £30, Nail Varnish, Book
Huge thanks to everyone who posts competitions

How much do you want to spend on the bird? If you didn't want to buy one, do you know anyone artistic who could make one out of fimo clay or something?Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170
