5 weeks today! OMG!

Sorted out the flowers today, and then went dress shopping with SIL2B! Had dress wobbles, fell in love with Maggie Sottero Meredith! Bought a fantastic necklace to match my beautiful dress instead.

Well my hair trial was fabulous so happy and i felt like a million dollars and felt so glamorous. Made it feel even more real now that the wedding is only 6 weeks away :j:j:D
I will post pics when my mum sends them me as she took them on her camera.

congratulations to all April Brides and Grooms!
I am getting married April 14th in Jamaica (not long,eeeeeekkk!). Just myself and my parter are attending.
Went ring shopping for the first time today ....i know i have left it perhaps a little too late! but found some lovely ones, just waiting to see if they can be made on time!
I have found and brought my dress, 3 days ago, which is such a relief. Just cant wait until the big day.Is anyone else having a wedding abroad this month?
While we are away it will also be my partners(husband by then!) birthday which is on the 17th,and was wondering if anyone had any ideas of what gift i could get him but something thats easy to take with us, as we wont have must space in our suitcases spare?

Well things are coming along nicely atm.

My Mum,Dad & sis are making my table plan & menus for each table. Some have been made and they are lovely.

I am in the middle of creating some butterfly facts for my tables as i am naming each table after a butterfly so wanted to do a little information sheet on the wingspan, where they came from etc

The leaflets i created on vistaprint for my order of the day have come and i am well pleased with them

Hope everyone elses plans are coming along nicely too

Wow - where are you getting married? I'm getting married at the Sandals Negril in Jamaica on 8th April and it's just me and OH too. We will be on honeymoon until 19th there.

I like your hair in the second style bride2be - that's very similar to how I want mine.

Thanks sexymouse. Think i am going for the 1st style tho just to give me a bit of coverage as i will feel a little bare without my hair being down. If i have my hair down fully it would take off my dress and spoil it

one of my BM & I have been practising the wedding cake today, we have made a very rough version to see what our ideas looked like. It looks good, needs a bit of tweaking, and the final product will take considerably longer than the 2 hours we spent playing this afternoon, but I'm glad we know what we're doing now!
Now I'm off to look at vistaprint leaflets to see if I can make our order of the days on there-thanks for the idea B2B24!
