Welcome to the group Betty!!! I think this is the chattiest "monthly" wedding thread on the board - I'm not sure what I'll read once it's all done!
csh - Good luck with finding the extra cash in time! On the plus side, at payday you'll have the extra that you'd been expecting to pay towards the wedding.
All the big payments are coming up all at once for us in the next few weeks - bracing myself for them all! :S

I decided on my new signature! It was weird writing it for my passport application - but I'm feeling more excited than grumpy now about changing my name

WOOOHOOOO My dress is back!! Just got the phone call and I have now moved my fitting to tomorrow I will be sure to take pics

We had a bit of a bad phone call this morning, the lead singer of our band has had a heart attack. The poor woman, I can't believe they are even bothering to think about gigs at a time like that, but they are very kindly emailing us a list of bands they know and would recommend, so I'll make some phone calls over the weekend.
I've booked my make up trial!! We have made it for the day of my "family" hen doo so I'll look all glam for the evening! I dont' know if you remember, but the lady doing my make up specializes in prosthetics and does horror films (!) I'm a bit disappointed I'm going to have to go for conventional "pretty" make up really! the stuff on her website looks amazing - have a look its www.anneduncanmakeup.co.uk. x

Well my hair trial is supposed to be at noon but I think the lady will cancel as its snowing here. She text me last night and asked me to let her know how the weather was here. Effin snow I'm sick of it!!

Make up wife better still come at 2pm! I usually work a Saturady and have the day of work for this

Wow, I've been awol on here for a while but its been lovely to catch up reading all these exciting things you ladies have been planning... it's getting so close for us all now!

I've got my hair trial Thursday morning followed by my hen day which I'm being kept completely in the dark about - very exciting! Make up trial next Saturday courtesy of my lovely bridesmaids whilst H2B is paintballing up in Rugby for the weekend (MSE of course - £2 deal from Groupon!) Then tacky hen night complete with L plates is on the 2nd April; I'm allowed to know a bit more about that one lol!

glad all doing ok and getting there with bits! cant believe how quick coming around now!!
You all got exciting hen do's to look forward too - bet you cant wait!!
there was talk bout dinner with some of the girls from work, but no one can decide if free or not so i cant be bothered. seeing as maternity leave starts like 12 days after back from time of for the wedding might just sort something for then and who can come does and who doesnt doesnt!

Hope all the ladies that have their hair trials coming up have got their ideas sorted! i was very pleased with mine !!

I got my wedding dress yesterday in the post - tried it on this morning, my mum came over. i think its ok. its strange, i dont feel overly excited or happy or anything about it i putting that down to it being a matter of finding something that will fit me and bump rather than the one. Plus i just ordered and sent measurements online...not had the excitement around it. Its nice though, dont get me wrong. Just trying it on in my bedroom wasnt really how i had imagined trying on my wedding dress for first time!
mum helped to do laces up-need to be done properly, but should be ok. only thing need to sort adjustments is the strap-its halterneck and the straps are too far towards side of dress, with them moved along bout inch at the most it will pull the front properly. mum has taken it home with her and going to ask someone she knows how much etc to sort it. hopefully not too much!!

Linda has been amazing though and is sorting my veil out and sending us the mickey ears/veil seeing as our has been lost etc by roayal mail. Can not thank her enough for what she is doing for me - it means the world!!
