  • Hi All

This weekend we got our favours sorted and our cake topper.

Gone for a personalised cake topper and will have our pet dog - Keith who is a pug on it too :-)

Favours - gone for chocolate covered fortune cookies, so that should be something a bit different.

Still not got my FG's dress! Going to look in debenhams this week, and got another dancing session this weekend so we should be able to learn the ending of our dance!

    Hope your all ok xx

Hey Becks - When's your wedding? Also would you mind sharing that seller? We're honeymooning to Italy so have been after some luggage labels and stickers etc to jazz up our suitcase! Was going to print some off and give it the teabag aging treatment but not to sure how successful it'll be so could do with a back up!

Course not no problem!! Seller is revivalallylovesvintage search for steamer trunk labels she has loads!!

Where in Italy are you off to?

Thinking about this too but will have to go at the side on a smaller cake as would be too big for our cake :)

Ha ha, I have a personalised cake topper on order with our dog on too. But ours is a boarder collie! It should be arriving this month, we ordered from Just Toppers.

Went to John Lewis yesterday to do the gift list thing. Dont want a lot as we would prefer vouchers as dont have a kitchen as such and would love to have cupboards and drawers instead of boxes everywhere. Have about 12 items on there the most expensive being some phones (£75), cheapest is a masher (£6).

H2B insisted on adding two fold up picnic chairs which I hate, they are £25 pounds each and I wont use mine as I prefer to lie on the beach and we only go to cornwall once a year so what the hell do we need them for, plus they are ugly with unionjack organey bits. I am just going to quietly tell my friends that if they buy them I will never speak to them again. Not that I'm ungrateful, but H2B and I nearly had a huge bust up in the shop over whether to include them or not and I only gave in to keep the peace.

sorry for ranting, had quite a stressful weekend with BMs moaning and making me cry and the chairs were the last straw!

    Hrmph.

oh aarch what were they moaning about? Must admit am feeling slightly overwhelmed at all the help two of my BMS have been. They are wonderful and completely and utterly justify my asking them. All four of us are off to the wedding show this weekend to see what outfits will suit who and hopefully make a final decision on colours for them and style :)

Luckily its a friend of ours giving us lessons and she choreographed the routine so we just need to learn it. Its harder than I thought it would be!

oh just generally whining about the style of dress, hair and seating plan - all of which were agreed months ago. Am sure its just nerves but to be honest If I was asked to be their BM I wouldnt care if they wanted to crimp my hair, stick me in a pink with purple spots dress and sit me at the back of the reception, I would just be happy and supportive with what they want.

I am really getting fed up up of changing things to suit other people, particuarly when it was all agreed months ago. And if a certain bridesmaid wants a hair trial she can bloody well pay for it herself.
