Magicboo - love those cake toppers, really original
Can't believe we're all getting married next month, so excited :j
Even more excited that my headband was delivered today and I love it! Can't wait for my hair trial now to see how it looks.
It's all coming together and I really can't wait0 -
oh mercy me, I really need to get back into wedding mode, and kick this black cloud away.
I am off to my first fitting of my dress tomorrow, so am hoping that I will feel a bit better about things.
Also got my hairband last week - a gorgeous wire orchid with lots of crystals and beads, and was at a jewellery making workshop with my mum last week, and found my wedding jewellery. The lass doing the workshop in the shop has some pieces that she had made, and she had just the perfect thing. She is making me a new set, as she wanted it to be my something new!
Its all coming together for everyone now!0 -
Snap! Mine arrives tomorrow, apparently! Am getting it sent to school...naughty! Hope the ladies in the office don't bollock me! I have asked them to address it to my department so it looks like a school related delivery!0

Guys sorry to do this but need to tell someone :-( MIL has been diagnosed with a Myeloma :-( she has gone to radiotherapy today then when the lesion is shrunk enough they will start with chemo :-( she seems really upbeat but I think she is barely clinging on emotionally :-( my OH and FIL went to pieces yesterday when they diagnosed her so there followed a mercy dash to Sheffield with food for them and reading material for her. On the plus point she told us to push on with the planning as until we know how she will respond to treatment we don't know what's going to happen.
We've got the a weekend of BMs and Wedding Show but I did move the vicar as it was tomorrow night. My dress alterations are coming along, cant wait for second fitting.
Blimey so whats next!!Married the love of my life on 28th April 2011 :T

Becks - I am soooo sorry to hear about MIL. If we can be any of help with sourcing wedding things on here just ask. Am keeping fingers and toes crossed that she responds well to treatment.0

Thanks Aarch, its a bit wierd as although we are sooo worried about MIL and are doing all we can to rally round the family, but the other part of me is still trying to do weddingy things as the self same MIL told me we only have 7 saturdays to go !!!
I am in desperate need of a wedding ring, just can't find ones I like. I am after a 2 colour ring and it has to be in 18ct gold as didn't realise that my engagement ring was!
Am also looking for a bolero for the dress. Linda was going to make me one but it was £95 which is a bit out of budget.
Any ideas?Married the love of my life on 28th April 2011 :T

Becks92, really sorry to hear about your MIL, bigs hugs to you and your family.
For the bolero, had a look on debenhams and there's a few on there which are realy pretty and much less than £95 (especially as it's 25% off at the moment)!

there are some two tone wedding rings on here which seem fairly reasonable and some of which are 18 carat. so many differrent style though!

also this webpage..

All online sellers though but maybe worth a shot??
I did find a really good accessories website that had lots of reasonable (not cheap) priced shrugs etc on. Am at work though and ten minutes of googling hasnt located it! debenhams is good witht the 25% discount thats on at the moment (prob ends on sunday but not sure). Also monsoon and coast are good. Did you have a particular colour or style in mind?0
