    :D I got 144 durex for my cousin as a 21st birthday present........free............:D

His face was a picture when he opened them:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
    Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.
  • I stocked up on the Durex play and tingle when it was on bogof - however, the phrase burning bush seemed quite appropriate for the minty one - never again !

I had around 200 cans of slimfast but this has now been reduced to around 50ish. As I type I am surrounded by toiletries which are due to go into the garage when it is built - and the loft is also full of toiletries too. I believe I have 200 toothbrushes at the last count, 80 bottles of various original source, 60 odd bottles of plax the list is endless. Eventually when I am settled into the new extension I will divide up all my goodies and donate some to charity, some to friends and some to the school. I also have 30cans of C2 larger in one of my cupboards - freebie with the sun. As well as 20 jars of vitamins.

    Welshy x

my cousins a bit more on offers than we are, couple of years ago when she came to london she took us to our local homebase and located these flowers on off,
they were y price with x amount off, but a load were reduced down to like 20p but still gave the x amount off, so we made profit on them, ended up buying all their stocks, cousin got hundreds of pots and things paid a few quid, went to put through a second lot which was where the assistant intervened so didnt get anymore
we still had these hundreds of flowers, ended up leaving most in the car park they wouldnt fit in the car

I did a bulk order to Boots earlier on in the year. I had a code which gave me free delivery. I bought bottles and bottles of toiletries/vitamins/sanitary products etc on BOGOF. Boots had to package the items in two huge boxes and the delivery man both times had to use a trolley with wheels on to get it down the path. I couldnt get them as far as the hallway and had to unpack them there and then..... Then i realized i hadnt got anywhere to store them. I have shampoo in drawers in my bedroom, under the bed, inbetween sheets and pillowcases, in the boys drawers in their bedroom, on top of the wardrobes as well as in the wardrobes, stacked neatly in rows on my dressing table. I may have got a lot free but i have a heart attack every time i go upstairs.

Edited to add, i seem to be adding to it as a new product comes on the market too.

As i used something up i some how managed to replace it with an extra one or two items. Hence the bottom has fallen out of one of my drawers and the drawers under the bed dont shut properly because of the weight on the runners

Netto are currently selling the mini-cereal packs at half price (87p) - I have already bought 6 and plan to get another 6 today. not sure where I am going to put them though :rotfl: I just hope the offer finishes soon or the caravan will be full of them

Martin, I hope you are proud of yourself, I would NEVER have done this before finding this site.

  • Sainsburys had £5 off the big 5kg packs of dry catfood (he wont eat any other brand) and due to a) my not putting my shopping away, b) going to the supermarket twice a week and forgetting to cancel and online order ... well I have one small cat and six months of cat food crammed into the living room closet behind the vacuum. Oops.

Those play things make me laugh, I too got some when on bogof and gave some to a friend, she called me the next day saying she was 'on fire' made me giggle.

Welshy your bulk shopping has made me feel much better :) Mine aren't even half that. Mint source is something I stock up on when on a good offer tho as it's DPs fave. Got it in my eye once, youch!!

Cereals, hmmm, just counted 8 boxes, not bought any for months either, ooops.

I keep saying I'll stop stocking up on things and use what I have to reduce a months shopping, but I can't resist :o
One day I might be more organised...........

I did the bodyform thing too! I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed the loophole. I'm down to my last couple of packets, but it feels like I've had them forever. I used to bulk buy all the time, but when it started to be *years* before I got through them, I knew it was out of hand. Now, when i see something on offer, I buy one for active use, and one for back up. It can be very tempting to buy more, but I have to remind myself: No more, no less!
