Bunny, I would discuss your racing heart with your doc because it could mean your medication needs to be modified a bit, a fast heart is a side effect of the medication so needs to be looked at.
You could check your resting heart rate by measuring your pulse for 1 minute, make sure you've been resting for a while, feel for your pulse and count the beats (you'll need a clock with a second hand) 60-90 BPM is normal, anything above that call your GP, don't wait for your next review.:A

They have just phoned....I just don't get it. They wanted to know whether he could def start next monday and he said to them that he was still waiting to see if my sister could sort out some accomodation for him and wouldn't be able to let them know until Thursday. Apparently the chap said he has some other people to see still but will let him know. Now I can't imagine that there are many people out there that could start a job within 1 week. If I were that chap I would have been thinking, well he's obviously not that keen otherwise he would be going out of his way to start next monday regardless.

I'm good thanks, a bit knackered though. I need some time off! I've been doing a bunch of night shifts, those are hard going lol, 13 hours and I don't get to sit down at all. Having said that, I start my next bunch of shifts on delivery suite tomorrow and finally I get a few days :T 7.15 am to 7.45 pm.
I'm pretty much doing the job now, I'm hands on delivering on my own, giving drugs, taking bloods and sticking cannulas in (which I rock at
). I am enjoying it, I'm struggling a bit with how miserable most of the qualifieds are though, if I hear one more time about how much they hate their job I'm going to slap them with a placenta :rotfl:
Lillsy Lills is great, she's sooo grown up now. She's starting to make a bit of sense when she says stuff now, has an amazing temper (no idea where she gets that from :A). She's a little sweetpea though.
How are things with you? I did lurk on your diary a couple of days ago so I know you are on the cusp of a new life :T I hope you get the call you are hoping for today.

74 is great, keep an eye on it though, count it when you feel it racing (unless you've just run up 20 flights of stairs lol).
