Rather you than me Spud.
Take it maths is your subject Bob?
English is Beanie, but as a Primary Teacher I was 'Jack of all Trades':rotfl:
I am weird though, as i enjoy Maths:o:rotfl:
I teach up to GCSE level now as well and that requires being on the ball a bit...still luckily the kids i teach are a bit lazy- gives me chance to get ahead:D:rotfl::rotfl:Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0 -
Ok you intelligent lot....
1) If you are applying for a job that ask's 'Please apply in store with CV' do you think it would be seen in a negative light to write a letter and send it rather than 'dropping' it in? Reason being its a £5 round trip
2) If you are applying for a job and you know the store managers name do you address your covering letter to her/him? This store is a national chain btw.
Thanks in advance :A0 -
Pap I would send it in after all not everyone is going to be passing all the time. If you know his name then I would address it to him by name, more personal.
Can you pm me your bank details hun so that I can transfer you some money
Thanks

Sal - You must be seething........although I'm sure OH is having a few wobbles about it all - it's a big step.......he just needs a final shove in the right direction.....hope you get it all sorted.
Thanks for the kind wishes - just one of those weekends/weeks/lifetimes I suppose.....A mixture of friends with huge problems, a m-i-l who means well but made me feel about an inch high and lots of stressy stuff with general life (DD1 doing 4 GCSE's and 2 RATs by the end of this year (year 9)......topped off today with DH's immune system being shot and contracting a really nasty infection in his fingers and nails..(the stuff that's bursting out of the ends is vile - sorry TMI) .............but hey-ho onwards and upwards...."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W.
