Sally, I hope all works out OK with the job and your OH.
We are going to have to tidy frantically for the surveyor's visit tomorrow
I think we will need to stack the front room sofas upside down as my front room has car parts in it from OH's new car
Do surveyors care about mess? I worry they will lower the value of our house thus affecting our LTV and remortgage rate -anyone know anything?Debt at highest: £8k. Debt Free 31/12/2009. Original MFD May 2036, MF Dec 2018.0 -

A good surveyor SHOULD be able to see beyond mess to structural issues only so you should be okay. Point out to the surveyor that the car parts are a very temporary feature just to be safe;)26.2.19/14.1.19: T MC 3629.26/3629.26 : VM 0% 1050/13876.59 : W 0% 100/1485 = 4409.26/18990.85 =25.17%28.1.19/28.1.19 Hubs 0% £400/£2,977 =13.44%SPC 2019 #073

Thanks Lucifa for reassuring me. My whole house is messy and topsy turvey at the moment.
Sammy - thanks for making me laugh. Car parts are a really annoying feature when they are sitting on a shower curtain on the floor, taking up more room than a sofa.Debt at highest: £8k. Debt Free 31/12/2009. Original MFD May 2036, MF Dec 2018.0 -
Nearly as good a feature as a stack of tires covered in dirty towels in the kitchen.
