I got my eggs today, just happened to be in the area. Now I see Thorntons have this voucher available for everyone so it's not special for those that missed out on the choc block!

I got my eggs today without any problems. The assistant knew all about the voucher and only checked to see if it was filled in. I had to travel to a second job interview today, so did a slight detour to town to pick them up. If I hadn't been going out anyway, the busfare wouldn't have made it worthwhile.

If anyone is interested, the choc blocks are 90g but the eggs are only 35g each. By my reckoning, Thorntons still owe me 20g of chocolate!

The assistant for me today was the manager of the shop and she knew nothing about it. :( She sighed a lot and huffed and puffed. Then she read all the terms and conditions. Then her assistant looked over her shoulder and said "Oh yeah, I know those!" which was helpful for me because I was starting to worry. Finally she said I'm not sure how to enter these but I'll try now. So she tried, we all held our breath and HURRAH! I got my two free eggs. :T

I think there are some choc blocks that are only 70g in weight. Most are 80g or 90g though....

i know far too much about Thorntons chocolate!? :o

Oh I never received a voucher either, I wasn't really expecting to get a block of chocolate to be honest but I hope that the lack of email is a good sign :)
