Toots - just popping in to say I hope your treatment goes well and I will miss you. No causing chaos in there!

((((hugs))) for Ruth. Thinking of you and your family.

Toots - hope hospital goes well and you don't get too bored without us to keep you company

I've spent the weekend with my parents - I have earned my keep splitting logs and building compost bins with my dad. We've had a couple of reasonable walks, and done LOTS of litter picking on the footpaths. My dad reckons he gets at least one carrier bag every time he goes out - mostly beer cans, sweet wrappers and crisp packers. We also saw an old car exhaust, a tyre, bags of garden rubbish, a microwave and some bits of kitchen unit so need to call the council tomorrow to get them removed. Why people can't just drive to the tip I really don't know

Also bought lots of clothes yesterday to replace the stuff I got rid of as too small in January :o That'll teach me to declutter... next time I'll just have to bag the stuff up by size!

Working from my parents' tomorrow morning and driving back in the afternoon (hopefully via the gym). Builders are starting on the garden again (they're here for two weeks this time) tomorrow, so it'll all be a bit chaotic. I'll be in the office Tuesday and Wednesday, and maybe for the rest of the week depending on what it's like at home...

See you all on the new thread at some point.

Happy Mother's Day everyone, special thoughts for those missing a Mum today. My lovely son had made me some cakes...I'll let them eat those being child made lol and a card at school bless him. DP didn't bother, nothing unusual there then

    Ruth thinking of you x
Penny I do love my Dyson too, I hated my first one but the newer ones I find brilliant, I've had mine serviced once by them which is under £70 IIRC and it was wondefully new again with all it's new bits. With the Henry they don't do an upright and a friend who's company makes parts for them ;) says he doubts they ever will. He did do more of their parts but they've started using somewhere abroad who was cheaper in the last year. He's split his business to now do car cleaning.....odd bit of random info lol. Well done on the freebie :) always a good price.
    Toots hope all goes well

Well not such a productive day, in fact a rather feeling lazy one I think so not as much done as I would have hoped. My meetings been changed for tomorrow to 11am so I will do more tonight and before I go tomorrow. Boys still need bathing so best dash and do that.
One day I might be more organised...........
