    Welcome Molly41

Well I'm pooped, ended up going out delivering leaflets for a public meeting on Wednesday. I just kept going until I'd run out. Probably 350 doors and their letter boxes were tackled. It took about 2 hours. I managed to remember where the killer step was that turned my ankle last time and I approached it very gingerly! I do wish letter boxes were standardised though - some of them don't half nip back!

Joint of beef in, HM apple crumble in. I make sure it's cooked before the roasties go in as they need a higher temp then just keep it warm. Now I need to prep the veg. I'll be lurking off and on to catch the new thread.

Thank you :A Your polos may be safe, as I've been offered a Dead Dyson from Freecycle :T It's switch is broken, and as DH has mended our switch before, he says we may be able to fix that and have a nearly new Dyson instead of ours :T

My pork pie is out of the oven, looking and smelling divine. DS is making a crumble, and it's Wine O'clock

I'll update my list and see you tomorrow :D

  • Hi ladies,

have had a lovely day, church (fun semi-chaotic all age service), bacon sarnies in the garden, afternoon to myself (boys out) and a delicious dinner (I only had to help a bit) with bubbles!

Boys have taken our doggie guest out for a walk as he goes home tomorrow and no other chance for DS to do so. So I'll load the DW and then chill with some TV.

Off tomorrow wo will be flying on a catchup mission - I intend to do not a lot this evening, well maybe some more bubbles....

I hope everyone had a good day, and many many hugs for those whom this is a hard day - may memories help out today and always.

    Moam
Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.

    Where has the day went.....

Need to go to the shop, then make something to eat, get kiddies all bathed and to bed, sort school uniforms, P.E kits ready for the morning.

Hubby due in to see doc at 9.15 then i need to put a payment down on the tiles. I think the doors are being picked tomorrow and lifted so they may be in this week. Then sparky to call tomorrow evening. I need to get down to my mums tomorrow with her belated mother's day pressie. :o She know's i'm broke.

    Right best shift.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Toots - big huggles for you this week :A You will be missed :A

Just had the in-laws on the phone and BIL has been made redundant this week :( Hopefully he'll be able to clear his mortgage with his redundancy money, but he's far too young to retire :(

Please can I have ALL 5 stars!!!

Better very late than never :p Haven't even got to do post 8pm catch-up because thanks to Mothers Day I've had some very eager helpers today!!

Thank you and love and hugs to all xx

PS - Am so sorry for the lack of posting during the week. Have been ultra busy with work / home / Guiding - just haven't had the time to keep it up, however, lack of posts doesn't = lack of caring and I hope everyone is well.

    Normal posting will resume soon.

    Best wishes to all x

I have had a lovely day walking in Derbyshire - shattered now. We don't really bother with Mothers Day et al so I was stunned this morning to get a leather pandora charm bracelet and a russian wedding ring charm from the littles as purchased by DH. DH never, ever goes shopping and I am really hard to buy for so a shock when he gets it 100% right. I had been admiring them since Lil-Me first mentioned them :T.

DW has been emptied and filled, WM is on yet again and I have hoovered the ground floor yet again. I must do HHI as soon as DH stops DIYing on the DR table.

The Dyson/Henry debate - I have both. Henry is great for 'rough' work but is totally useless on thick carpets, thin plasticy carpets (kitchen :() and pet hair. The Dyson dies if it gets a whiff of plaster dust but removes the pet hair.

Busy week coming up - overnight visitors next weekend for SS1 18th so I have to clean. Lots of work work to do as well and it is critical that I don't take my eye off the ball with the garden. *hyper ventilates*
