  • Toots, I have taped it - about 4 times now. The first 8 inches have no flexibility now, there's that much tape on it :D. And I found another split last night at the other end, so that now has tape on it!

I might as well tape the lot. It's like a flexible corrugated see-through pipe and it's nowhere near as good as the last pipe I had. There was nothing wrong with that pipe, they only changed it when they changed my last mask (because that had a split).......

I've got an answer phone message now, the new pipe is in, so I need to arrange when I can collect it and then hopefully, I'll be back to half-decent sleep. Trouble is, even with a decent fit etc, I still don't sleep brilliant. The last test I had showed a slight improvement using the machine, but still dodgy.

At least I don't fall asleep mid-sentence now like I used .....zzzzzzzz :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Notso
I'm not so tired & not so desperate..... mainly thanks to MSE :D so just call me Notso.....
Yes, I'm juggling and I might drop some.... but at least I'm trying ;)

notso the semi-clear ones I think are only for use in the ward - temporary use! maybe you need to try another mask again - I have had atleast 4 different ones - The one I have now is good and my air loss in the night is below acceptable levels so thats good and I am now only stopping breathing about 7 times in an hour (it was 32!) dont give in keep pestering them until you get a decent fit - we all need a reasonable nights sleep to function.
    tootsxx

ETA ask for a spare so that you dont get caught again - I have a spare one which i was going to send if you were having to wait a while

    Evening folks.

Only just been able to catch up with the thread, as I've been so busy today. It might not look a lot, but trust me, with the dearth of spoons in the Wolf's Lair, it's left me completely cream crackered.

So, mega-apologies for not doing individual messages today, but I'm just waaay too tired.

    Here's a bucketful of ((((HUGS)))) - help yourselves.:o

    Thursday ~ Bathroom and WC
    Level One
Declutter and mop floors! Done (Mr LW)
Scrub the bath/shower/basins/toilets/bidets etc.. don't forget the outside of the loo and under the scanky rim.. it gets naaaaaasty under there!!.. oh, and don't forget the top of the cistern! Done; Mr LW had a blitz on the loo limescale during his lunch break. (he's working from home today)
    Level Two
Sling shower curtain/bathmats in the wash and scrub down the slimy tiles! Mats OK; shower screen and tiles done alongside porcelain.
Wash away any mouldy black bits and furry webs Done
Polish up the taps so they shine! Done
    Level Three
Wash light pull strings! (Painting with neat bleach works then rinse in a jug of water) Done
Scrub down the paintwork and radiators.. back and front! Done
Clear and wipe window sills and frames and make the blinds/curtains nice and clean No curtains/blinds; entire window recess cleaned and shined.
    Extras
    1. Clean out the toiletries cupboard and put back the stuff you use.. and fling the stuff you don't! Do any necessary decanting so you have fewer almost empties! All kept tidy after the last time this was on the list.
    2. Replace and curly toothbrushes They're both fine.
    3. Polish mirrors and shelves! Done
    4. Make a note of stuff you do need to stock up.. and stuff you already have stocked up for 10 years! All OK – shampoo (for me) already on shopping list!
    5. LW's Extras: Wash hair – while Mr LW is at home and able to assist. Done
    6. Hang out washing that was done overnight on cheap(er) leccy Done
    7. Do paperwork that just came in the post Done
    8. Make Shepherd Spy (for Thursday lunch and Friday dins) DONE (Thur a.m.)
    9. Survive having engineer in to service boiler. Done (I need a nice lie down now) Interesting point – engineer commented that our house must be clean because there wasn't a lot of muck been sucked into the boiler since the last service. So THANKS for that, Flylady Central Command.
    10. Collect photo album from photographer. Done
    11. Grocery shopping at Morrisons Done
    12. Pay credit card online and update finance spreadsheets. Done
    Thursday complete.

In the nicest possible sense don't be daft. We all have days like that and you have more excuse than me! Get done what you can - celebrate what you have done instead of feeling guilty about what you haven't.

Greenbee :p I have had enough rather nice sunday times15% red to put the boys uniforms in the DW!
