Afternoon all.
Glad you got a sensible response Greenbee
Thanks for the vibes for work and the good lucks for tonight.
The work vibes worked. I got given some filing to do which was quite exciting. How come? I hear you cry. Well, it meant I had to go to the Basement. The Basement is fascinating. It has all these old vaults with big heavy clunky safe doors on them. And it's full of old stuff. I did my filing and then had a good old rummage through. There's newspapers there from years ago, old TV Times's and lots of old journals. I got quite lost in reading some of them. I think I shall volunteer to be Basement filer from now on!
Right, better go walk the dog, drop some leaflets off at a friend's house and then prepare myself for this evening.I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

That is ridiculous:eek: they should have been told to make another appointment to come back and discuss rather than leave people waiting so long:mad:Didn't help that I had a doctors appointment and the person in front of me was in for 1 1/2 hours:eek: By the time I got back I had missed my Tesco delivery and now they are refusing to deliver it:mad:
I would be telling MrT that you will take your business elsewhere:cool:
I have done nothing today. I have not long woke up from a mammoth sleep:o

ETA montbretia - the plant that is.
Is it the orange or the red one? It's not called that anymore, but I still use that name as it is so pretty.toottifrootti wrote: »Dusty hope you got good weather to escape from the builder - will this be the last of the major mess he makes?
Yes that should be the worst of it but the dust is still settling. I've been out mostly, to town and then to a friends for a cuppa this afternoon :jThat is ridiculous:eek: they should have been told to make another appointment to come back and discuss rather than leave people waiting so long:mad:
We don't know that they had not just been given some horrid diagnosis or were in a really bad way emotionally:( I am sure the doctor was not just sitting having a chat about the weather. We also don't know that the patient was with the doctor the whole time and that he had not been called away on an emergency. Yes the receptionist might have been able to advise the patients better but somethings are out of our control.
Things not going great here.
Dropped a bag of shopping with 4 bottles of beer in and 12 eggs - the eggs survived but 2 of the beers didn't - neither did the sugar floating in the mess.
Just came in to a kitchen full of feathers where woody had been plucking a blackbird, let's just say that the wing he had eaten did not agree with him either:eek:
Going to get the washing in and have a cuppa before starting dinner - where has the day gone again. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
