  • Nope, just term dates. It's got good results, but the school treats parents with contempt :( In DD's frirst year I tried really hard to get involved and offer my help, but they really don't seem to want is anywhere near :( When DH finished his 4 year term as parent governor, he didn;t even get a thank you, verbal or written.

And an ex-colleague has just got in touch to arrange to catch up next wednesday evening. Some of you may remember me getting a bit worried about him this time last year... as I wasn't sure about his motives and he's married... but I'm pretty sure it's OK and I do want to catch up. Although he did offer to meet up near home if I was working from home which I'm a bit unsure about. Not that I'd actually let him know where I lived anyway... Why is life so complicated?
You are much too clever to do anything that daft/horrid.

  • Hi everyone!

Went AWOL last two days - should have been studying on Tuesday, but only did a few hours in the morning before THE FAMILY EXPLOSION OF DOOM took place again between sisters & Mother, dragging me into the middle of it all, with everyone ringing up to give their side.....:eek::eek::eek: . Nothing had really been resolved at Christmas, so it has all been rumbling and fermenting slowly in the background. :(:(:(:(:(

6 hours and many phone calls later, I managed to extricate myself having reconciled two (but not all three) of the warring parties. Am now building a bunker.

    hiding.gif

So I went outside and gardened yesterday, in 3.5C and a nippy wind. Anything to avoid the phone or the e-mail...... :rotfl:

Today, I'm back on track, though...

    Morning all

    Today's list complete :)

I've got two loads of washing out on the line, blowing nicely. It's a lovely day but supposed to rain tomorrow I think so I made sure I got the washing up together.

I've cut the grass out the front, edged it and swept up, and turned over the soil in the border. Pulled out the dead leaves from the something I can't remember the name of but which will come back to me as soon as I press "post". There isn't enough grass out the back to cut by the time the dog has trampled over it etc.

Oh and the dog has had her hair cut/washed today and looks (even more) beautiful;)

Catching up now before it's time to start cooking, hope everyone's OK.

:TJust pooping in whilst at work having my dinner

Yet again no flying this week, the decorator is in (an actual decorator not another name for Aunt Flo)

So seem to spent most evenings cleaning the same areas, no one should have to shine their sink everynight (to get all the paint off). But he thinks he will be finished tonight so only 1 more evening, off walking round the house funny as your not sure where he has painted

Hope everyone is well and doing the best that they can
