Evening!
Toots - thanks for missing me! I'm ok but still tired and it's been a hectic week! Little shadow is good and less clingy this week - he was really laughing this afternoon and I have no idea why, but it was really infectious and got us all smiling! He tried to pull me out the front of school to go home with him tonight!!
I would appreciate some wonderful postive flylady vibes please as I have a lesson observation tomorrow - ICT at 11:05 - thank you!
Love and hugs to all, especially Toots and L-L xx"There's only one way of life and that's your own" - Levellers

Well, have had a nice relaxing day today..we went for a drive around Derbyshire, stopped at a chip shop in Tideswell after visiting Daddys yard to see all Daddys coaches...I wish:rotfl::rotfl:Actually stopped at OHs work but thats what LO calls it..really enjoyed the fishcake butty.
We then went to Bakewell to feed the ducks which LO loves but baby D was not impressed when a Canadian duck went up to her buggy:rotfl:
On the way back we stopped off at Rowsley mill so I could pick up some Wholemeal flour for the breadmaker as I am running short.
Got back and OH made Chilli for tea and I did all.... yes all ...the ironing including the three loads i put on line before we set off.
Great news Sexymouse..glad you have a final date for leaving..xx:T
Hugs Lady Liberty ..hope you feel better very soon xxx:A
Pigpen...you make me laugh so much with your posts...:T:T
Sandy ...I have been struggling too...Pulled a muscle in my back a few weeks ago..thought it was getting better but the last few days have been really bad.....I have 7 in the house and 3 of the teenagers are worse than useless...if housework was at the end of a keyboard or ps3 control my home would be spotless...saying that DS1 (16) is an angel x
OH works away a lot and even when at home 15 hour days are normal...just do what is most necessary to you...laundry,pots etc and even if you only manage 1 thing extra from the lists it will be a bonus....Love to you x
Just have DS1s wraps to do then its the sofa and some knitting for me or maybe some Mahjjonng........
Love to all xxFeeding 6 Adults 1 Teen a 8 year old with hollow legs and a very fussy 5 year old. Also 3 cats and 3 fishies

Just popping in to say hello. I'm here but not v. well.
Did some flying today, but only managed to clean the bathroom before I had to take to my bed.
Someone (who shall remain nameless) thought it would be OK to bring their child to my house earlier in the week. Their child who was still in the throes of a sickness and diarrhoea bug. Absolutely no thought as to how infectious they might be.
This morning was spent dealing with DSs toxic (and I mean toxic) nappies. This afternoon was spent in bed nursing a bowl. We're both feeling a bit better now.
Grr.
OH says the kitchen floor is cleaner than it has ever been. Apparently the waste pipe came undone on the dishwasher.... (I had only mopped the floor yesterday!). But, love him, he took the washed towels out of the WM to mop up - then put them back in and washed them...:TAnd, here's my list - if it ain't there it's done.
Thursday ~ Bathroom and WC
Level One
Level Two
Wash away and mouldy black bits and furry webs
Level Three
Wash light pull strings! (Painting with neat bleach works then rinse in a jug of water)
Clear and wipe window sills and frames and make the blinds/curtains nice and clean
Extras
Hope you all have a good evening
Take care
D

Sorry I've not been about, have had a hectic but absolutely brilliant day. I really enjoyed it. Will tell you all about it another time as my bed is calling but didn't want you to worry that I'd not been on.
Not read the whole thread but this is what I noticed when reading a bit earlier:
I was thinking that. I know an hour and a half is a very long time, but I certainly appreciate the doctor taking their time with me when I'm in a bit of a state. My old doctor always gave the appearance of having all the time in the world and he was very comforting when I was feeling very low. The current one treats you like you are on a conveyor belt. She starts talking when you come in, and you have to leave when you have reached the end of her imaginary conveyor belt. She's very efficient but it's not conducive to telling her anything important!Dustykitten wrote: »We don't know that they had not just been given some horrid diagnosis or were in a really bad way emotionally:( I am sure the doctor was not just sitting having a chat about the weather. We also don't know that the patient was with the doctor the whole time and that he had not been called away on an emergency. Yes the receptionist might have been able to advise the patients better but somethings are out of our control.
Do all your neighbours use their green bins? Would one of them let you put stuff in theirs?I wish I could do a Dusty with the greenwaste bin, I have enough to fill it twice over
GnB how wonderful to see you, please come back soon!
Soappie I hope your talk goes well tonight
Toots, I wish I was nearer so I could make your bed for you, what a frustrating thing to happen. Could a neighbour give you a hand, at least with the duvet cover? That’s always the hardest bit to do IMO.
Love and hugs to you all, especially Lady Liberty and Diva and Ishtar
I've got a very early start, have to be at Mum's by 8:30 to give something to my sister before she leaves at 8:40, so I will be up before seven! Ugh! Before 7am should be banned! Night all xx"Snowflakes are one of nature's most fragile things, but just look what they can do when they stick together."

Why are men so stubborn?
Anyway I'm doing a passing resemblence to Olive from On the Buses at the mo, due to needing a shower and hairwash.:o

That is ridiculous:eek: they should have been told to make another appointment to come back and discuss rather than leave people waiting so long:mad:Dustykitten wrote: »

Sorry I totaly missed these comments:o I waited because as was said he has always been brilliant with me and let's people have as much time as they want. It's probably why everyone wants to see him.
I go at the same time every week (even the staff know my name:o) and last week he just forgot to put me on the computer so one of the receptionists just told him I was there.
When I went in he apologised and said he had forgotten I was there and had just been chatting with the previous patient!
Oh and the shopping turned up eventually. The did ask if I could just pop up and get it as the shop is only 1/2 a mile away (I had told them I couldn't drive at the moment). Yes of course I will walk up then carry a weeks shopping for 5 home again:mad:
I'm sorry I am very ranty tonight:oSealed Pot Challenge Member NO. 853 :j0 -
