    Vacuum it? stiff brush?

I did try vacuuming it but it didn't work, maybe I should take it down first:o
Lampshades, sounds mad, but aren't you supposed to rub it with white bread?! (if its pale coloured, and fabric). N.B. don't butter the bread first!

Might give the bread a try. We bought value bread this week and thats about all it's good for. Will remember about the butter:rotfl:

    Afternoon all,

Since my last post i have

    Picked up Ds2
    Made & eaten lunch
    Put dry dishes away
    Washed up
    S & S Kitchen
    Set up wm for am
    Put 2nd load on line

Monday ~ Living room, reception rooms and hallway
    Extras
    1. [STRIKE]Clean smelly pets and their smelly bedding[/STRIKE]
    My Extras
Get Oh to put stuff in attic
Ebay List things in box &
    Sort through all Ds2's toys
    Take stuff to tip
Sort out contents & get rid of pc cupboard

I'm trying to summon up some enthusiasm for tackling the pc cupboard. Another one of those things that someone offers OH and he says yes to even though no one wants it, needs it or has the space for it. It's been in the corner of my dining room for probably 2 years and my pc hasn't been anywhere near it it's just become a storage space. Now i've had enough and OH can have it back or i'm taking it to the tip.;) Most of the stuff in it can be slung as well or rehomed elsewhere.

    In mt HHC I...

Washed up a sick full of pans and a sink full of dishes
hung a load of washing on the line:j:j
Folded several loads from over the weekend
Cleared a bit clutter from bedroom floor while I was up there
Tidied round the living room floor

Sandy I get Mr LW to get on the step stool and use a clothes brush on fabric lampshades. If I'm feeling brave I get up there myself, but not just lately, as my left knee isn't to be trusted.

Got loads of lovely sparkly dragons now.:D A lot of them are the Myth'n'Magic pewter and crystal ones, so they aren't easy to dust.

Will get Mr Sandy to do that when he gets in, thanks. Don't want to fall and break my arm. :o

I used to collect the Enchantica dragons. They are all in a box in the loft now.

I've cleaned the bath and the loo, partially remade the bed and done a ton of shredding. i've also put away dry washing up.

    Not getting very far.

Couple of problems to try to solve with the builder today

Credit card appears to have been copied so that is now stopped, awaiting new cards.

Going to do HHC in the kitchen and then it will be school pickup time - the day has just gone.
