My OH said more or less the same as you! He said are you sure your DS isn't paying towards the cost of their DS :o also the father said I can give DS's money to his wife to look after for him!? I had originally planned to give the parents the bulk of the money, for safe keeping and just a small amount to DS, but am not so sure now. God that sounds awful.

When I was 15, we went on a family holiday to Florida and I took a friend with me.

The deal was, her parents paid for her flight and share of the villa cost (which was much cheaper than a hotel), the park tickets, general spending money and only a small amount towards food. I remember my Mum and her Mum arguing over paying for the food: 'Let me pay.' 'No, let me pay.' 'No, I can't do that, let me pay' and so on. Completely baffled me at the time!

So they agreed on a small amount towards food in the end. Most of which she didn't throw up for once and actually gained half a stone whilst away, instead of losing. But that's another story and involved me saying 'I'll join you' whenever she said she was going to the toilet 2 secs after finishing her meal.

Congrats on your flat Psycho, what a relief it must be for you :)

Ok £400 PaD from me today, £50 for past 5 days, plus got a refund cheque from something we'd paid for so I've put that towards my Halifux loan too, and some other bits and bobs, so it takes me up to pads for tomorrow too...happy days!!

    PAYDAY!!

But still have to wait until Monday for my 'big' PADs to go out :(

Anyhoo, £1 into my Smoking Pot and £6.31 rounding down my account makes £7.31 for me today please Euro :)

After my bigger monthly savings PADs this month I'm not sure how much I'll be able to spare as I'm going to try and pay for our wedding (the ceremony/legal/certificate part) without touching my savings. Gulp. It's only about £250 each at this stage, but that will eat up most of my excess PADing money...and then some. But we'll see. I also have my motorcycle insurance renewal in August and I want to pay for this up front this time, so it could be close.

Annnnnnyway...hope you all have nice weather this weekend and the wind behind you!
