Morning Guys! Will start padding again soon hopefully. Small and steady wins the race and all that.:cool:
MSE is taking a backburner at the moment though (is that the right saying?) as I have decided to move my stuff out of the flat on Sunday and put it into storage for the 9days before I move into the new flat. It's only £18 per week, so I think it would cost me no more than £30 in total including insurance and the extra 2 days. My friend has said I can stay on her sofa, and thinks its probably best I just get out of the flat. I really don't want to go back, not even for a week. Plus they are moving out on July 1st and I don't want them to suddenly try and get any money for the few days I am there. Can't remember if I already said, but they had someone staying in my room the other night too without asking me so I'm a bit annoyed about that, the rudeness more than anything.:mad::mad:
Still waiting to hear if we have got the flat, but my friend has also offered to be a guarantor for me if I need one. I owe the friend one BIG box of chocolates when I'm sorted, as she has been so lovely in putting me up (or should that be putting up with me!).:oBecame Mrs Scotland 16.01.16Became homeowners 26.02.16

Morning all.
FRIDAY!!! woo hoo - won't be a NSD as planned today as a friend in work has had some fantastic news so we are going out to lunch to celebrate - shouldn't be too expensive though.
PAD £6.01 towards Halicrap CC. Hoping to get most CC statements in this weekend so going to look at giggling things about. I think my Mint CC will be down below £1K now and if so - even thought its not the highest interest rate - I think I'm going to concentrate on that for July and Aug as I think I would be able to clear it and then thats only 2 cards left
deft going to start a challenge for July too to try and focus me - probably an ebay challange with all proceeds going to Mint.
Hope everyone is well.New surname New start!

Hi all
Angelic - Feb 2011 - we'll hold you to that :rotfl::rotfl:
My DS4 thinks I've got a money tree! :mad::rotfl: He's going away with his mate and his family on 9th July - and I thought they were staying in a hotel - you know half board - er no it's self catering and they think he'll need £350 for the week :eek::eek::mad: If I'd known that I wouldn't have let him go on the holiday and oh yes they want £40 for his share of taxi fare :eek: I'm not saying that I expect them to pay for him but bloody hell!!! I want him to have a good time etc but still think its a bit of a cheek inviting him and not informing me that they were staying self catering!! The holiday itself has cost £340! They gave DS a print out of costs etc and the hotel they were staying in and I'm sure it said half board but I can't find the sodding thing now! DS has informed me that he needs new clothes as well!!!:( He's managed to save £90 himself lol bless him. Feel better for getting that off my chest!
I haven't even paid for my flights yet for end of JulyI can see me not going, I've got a headache trying to work out money! I hope I win the euro tonight :cool::rotfl:
Psycho - what a good friend you have and yes she deserves a big box of chocciesas for them letting someone stay in your room :mad: cheeky !!!!!!!!!! Sooner you get out the better it will be. Good luck
