It looks a good idea and environmentally it is very good but given I get 4 pints of milk in Lidl for £1.09, given how much we use i think i'll have to stick to them.....

plus looking at the site, they haven't branched out into the Scottish Sainsburys yet...

They have indeed! I work at Murrayfield in Edinburgh and they have them there, not sure about any others.

You work for Sainsburys too? A colleague told me once they get all the jugs in, we get one each, I think the milk may be a voucher tho to avoid loads of 'staff milk' lying through the back unclaimed.

They're on the shelves for customers to buy just now, but I'm gonna hold out and wait for my freebie lol

Yes, I work for Sainsbury's too

It was a slightly different jug than the one pictured, if anything i think it looks better.

Yes, I did realise that, although it was the best picture I found on google images.

Don't go by the list on that site. As I said above I work in a store that's no listed & we sell them.

Well I'm english (part of me is Scottish on Nana's side in my defense ;)) but even i realise after living here for over 2 years how much Scotland is by passed....

Thanks about finding out but don't worry as I said if the price drops i might think about it but at the moment Lidl and milk we are liking ;)

    IT'S MILK IN A BAG!!

Sainsbury's Semi Skimmed Milk Bag 1.13L (2 Pint)
    Buy 2 for £1.50 OR 80p each
I remember these from the last oil crisis in the late 70s. It is a sound system, and it does prevent a lot of waste.

However, the price just does not add up. Farmfoods has a 2 for £1.50 deal on 2l of semi or full fat milk in a regular plastic bottle. That's nearly twice as much milk, and no hassle.
