Right, after getting lots of great advice on another thread about increasing my business that is how i'm going to pay of my debts quickly.

Today, i've spent several hours printing out leaflets. I've also had some nice postcards made up via vistaprint with special offers on. When they arrive i'm going to post them to selected local businesses. I'll deliver some leaflets tomorrow and let you know how it goes.

Feeling quite good now considering I was feeling so down about all this a few days ago.

    This will work!

Grrrrrrr! Normally about half my clients pay by cheque and half my cash. Today I had a regular who always pays with cash which was a relief as I needed to buy stuff for children's pack lunches. She paid with a cheque!!!!

Quite pleased with myself though as I went to the local farm shop and supermarket and paid my bill, £2.67, with coppers and five pences. The people behind me didn't like it but tough. Before now i'd have gone to tesco's and done a big shop to warrent putting it on a debit or credit card. I am learning!

"Warrant putting it on a debit or credit card?" Pah! I've bought stuff for 35p on a credit card before. Small shops may have a minimum spend, but the large ones don't (or if they do, they don't tell their staff).

It all stems from when I bought some expensive hi-fi gear, and the sales assistant miskeyed the amount. I had to put the CC back in for a second transaction to top up the missing 10p...

You are kidding me ZTD!?! That's really bad, 10p!!!!!

Well i've been truely dfw today. My dentist has tried to save one of my teeth for years. It's cost me a fortune and felt ok not very often. Today it was suggested that they'd remove it. I agreed despite having a fear of dentists. An hour and half, three dentists and me shaking like a leaf later.....and.....it's still in! I have to go back in two weeks after antibiotics and they'll try again.

I'm trying to see the positive side and it is this...extraction is cheaper than having it capped. I keep telling myself that but right now i'm wondering if strong painkillers and wine is a good combination for my liver or my bank balance!
