No spend day as went to park, had picnic and my children played with their cousins which they only ever see in the summer holidays. Everyone happy, especially me!

    Day two
No spend day as working and mum and sister looked after my children. I put together a goody bag of treats for them to take and share amongst cousins and also sent some craft birthday presents they'd never done to keep them busy.

Will have to spend tomorrow though as sister is only here on holiday for a month and we always have christmas in july as we can't have the real one with her. Have been dfw savvy for pressies as we're only allowed to buy small but need to buy turkey etc tomorrow. In many ways it's better than the real thing because it's not commercial but plain good fun. We have to make our own decorations as funnily enought there's not many for sale at this time of year!

Aw thankyou! Christmas is on Sunday, we're shopping for it tomorrow. You've made me feel most festive! My only problem is that we have new neighbours. Do I not mention 'christmas' and risk them hearing us pull crackers in the garden whilst playing carols? Or, do i tell them about our July festivities and risk them thinking we're mad anyway!
