Morning All sunny here but very cold, och it's only May!
only heats up here the last week in July and its downhill all the way after that...........

Elsie they are definitely in the bowels of bank HQ searching ever searching. Did you read the one on NiD's thread about M&S??? absolutely shocking, totally shocking.
Going the shop as we are down to the bare nothings but will bring it in under budget, I'm totally in the mood!!!

Cold & overcast here too - what a surprise:D Got up early but have been faffing around for a while, feel a bit blech so that's probably why. Have to get on my glad rags again for the game this afternoon, ah well at least we get our meal out:rotfl: DD can't decide whether to come or not - she gets too upset if we lose (very likely). Us oldies, were more philosophical (sp?) ie used to it:( And she can always watch it on telly:eek:

Don't recall that one PDD....will have to go and have another look. I do read Nid's thread constantly, to see how other folk are doing, and also to learn from him. The guy is amazing, I only hope he never closes his thread down.:eek:

Postie has been, and all we got was a reply to a letter that we sent to a creditor on 5/May, saying they will contact us re our complaint. This is the only creditor that still has replied.:T

Nothing interesting at all.!!:D

Goodness how time flies.... good afternoon everyone. We have yellow smiley thing today, and breeze, so washing out on the line. I have been painters apprentice and carer today, so multitasking you wouldnt believe.:rotfl::rotfl:
The gas and electric bills came today too so no more rotfl more like lays on the floor howling.:eek::eek::eek:
Hope that the new boiler will cut the gas bill dont know what to do to get the electric down, maybe stop ironing and hoovering and cooking and washing Y E S please:)

Afternoon All

Been a busy Dopey, did the shop, £13 under budget, then planted out loads of plants FiL gave us for free and some that DD had bought and planted seeds for assorted veg. Gave the lawn a haircut and its all looking fab, I'm now all scrunched up, too much bending, so chilling on the sofa. Mrs I just got our electric and gas, we put a new boiler in last year before the money dried up and a year in (now) my gas is dropping like a stone, down from around £65 per month to around £40 and remember it was really cold at Christmas and well into the New Year here, so boiler is definitely saving money. I am like a maniac with the electric, I'm always turning things off, unplugging, and it is coming down but more slowly, its more of a work in progress, main perp is DS who walks out leaving everything on cos he's a bit dopey too.........

I've just renewed my FH membership guys, so if anyone wants anything looking up, then let me know. I now have it until November.

Carers have been and put oh to bed, with sky tv and a glass of red,:beer:( so dont feel too sorry for him guys) so all his washing is in and the dishes are washed ,so its my time now until I do the ironing.:(
Need to sweep these floors too get rid of dog hairs we dont have a dog, but painter paul does and where he goes 'samthedog' goes too.
