What a great name:T, that could describe how we all feel I think.!! Number 20 for you, and I see that you have already met a couple of members.:beer: Join in anytime you like to, we are all in the same situation, getting closer to retirement, in fact some members are already retired, and we are all looking forward to the time when the debts have gone.:T:T We are mostly ladies with the exception of " the wad ", who is a bloke, and you can tell because he doesn't chat as much as we ladies......he generally pops in once or twice a week.:beer:

We do talk a lot of drivel, and we do have quite a lot of laughs:rotfl::rotfl:, which is the main thing, after all we are all in the same situation, and we like to lighten things up a bit. Although, we do have some serious discussions, and we are all here to support each other.:A

Just got home from work, so need coffee, be back later.

By the way folks......NO post again today.!!

Getting a stage or two closer with the plumbers, the new boiler is on the wall and there is a series of large holes and quiet expletives around. :rotfl:
Poor old oh is not having a good day, but he is very stoic about things.:( It will have to be carry out tea tonight as the kitchen is a no fly zone. oh, dear, what a shame eh? hope to get back on later maybe give the pole a whirl :eek::eek:

I don't envy you having all that work carried out, but it will be great when its finished, and it does have some benefits such as carry out tea's....no cooking and no washing up.!!

I don't know about me terrifying the creditors, I definitely feel the one who is terrified.!!:eek:

Did you manage to have a look for any other information on R.Brown?:)

Still freezing here and I understand that it was snowing in Fife and in Manchester??? So much for global warming.
Very quiet on the DMP front, not a thing. Lloyds promised me a letter a fortnight ago, confirming the arrangement, they are the only one I haven't got sorted, just debating wether to phone again or complain in writing as I have kept a very very long list of the names of the incompetants who I have dealt with mmmm. What do you think???

Might have a swing round the pole later, need heating up.

Hi PDD.

I'm in Yorkshire and its very cold and wet today, such a difference from last week when it was 28 degrees.!! It makes you wonder when summer will ever be here and how long will it last. With regards to Lloyds.....if there is one thing I have learned from Niddy's thread, is that you never phone, always write to them., so if it were me they would be having another letter.

We have now gone 3 weeks since of CCA letters went out, and only 1 reply out of 6.....next letters are ready to be posted over the coming week.!!

mm Elsie, think you are right, will employ my writing skills to see if I can produce something, mentioning each and every twit I spoke to, then there was the diddy who thought paying into a DMP somehow transleted to being a member of the BNP and wanted to know how that affected my ability to pay!!! Quite looking forward to this!

Hi all:j Freezing here also in Yorkshire - hopefully I won't have to put the heating on although lovely E-on have reduced our leccy/gas bill from their estimated one of £4500 to a mere £847:eek: how very dare they:eek:

Also good news that we have managed to get the CCs down to under £35000, have paid off a lot in the last few months but still have some way to go:rotfl:

Sounds like a plan Mrs I, I am sort of having a carry out tea on account of making so much Chinese last night we couldn't eat it, so leftovers for me & DH - DD is now back at Uni:T

Coincidence, but R Brown is also mrsi......same chrisitan name too.!!!! Spooky eh.

It is very confiusing for me 'cos they are from totally different area's, but me mind will not accept that fact and keeps trying to muddle me up.....which is easily done.!!
