  • Afternoon All

Have sorted through all of my wardrobe this morning, winter things off to the loft, summer things in wardrobe, a lot of things off to Ebay, all good quality and some with labels still on so should get rid.
Elsie, so sorry about the family news, children can be verrrry aggravating sometimes, my DS is 6ft 3in but I still skelp him regular just to keep my hand in!!

Cuddlymarm I was looking for a new job 3 years ago after a long illness, attended around 40 interviews, I'm very well qualified, been in sales for 30 years, how hard was it to get a job? like you I was there with the kids in group interviews, no chance. I eventually walked out of a "group" interview for a very well known breakfast cereal company who were patently only interviewing me because they had to to avoid being sued for age discrimination, told them to stuff it as they were totally incompetant and hadn't a clue how to speak to people, let alone sell anything to anyone.
I did get a job, with a small company who were looking for expertise, qualifications and experience, all of which I had in spades, so there are jobs out there, you just have to keep at it. I've got a brag file built up over many years, if you've got one stick it right under their noses, I'm sure it turned the tables for me.
Right absolutely knackered again, so relaxing on the sofa for a while.

Won't be able to take part in any pole dancing for a while girls (and guys)...'cos I will find it difficult whilst being in my body armour 24/7. :o Will be dodging the bullets etc over the next couple of weeks, when our creditors receive our CCA requests. But I will be watching from the sidelines and still able to take part in the drinking parties....going to the loo might take a while....depend how hard it is to remove said armour.:o

We have a right to ask to see the original credit card agreement, and they have to produce it, signed etc.....if they can't produce a signed agreement with precisely everything on it that should be there, then it may be un enforceable.... which means we may not have to pay it back.

Read the thread on Unenforceability and template letters, it is very confusing, but "Never in Doubt " is the font of all knowledge, so we are taking his advice, and going through this step by step.

    P.S.

We will be thrown off the DMP if we take any action ad don't pay, but I don't mind, I have thought about doing our own for a while now.

Well done :Tas i said bfore OH is on dmp but i am trying to pay my own.
am i right in thinking that because i am behind with some pay mets and not passed to a dca , that if i sent cca they would likely send one back ?

If so perhaps it might be better to be with dca at least there may be a fighting chance .Oh i dont know.:(:(:(

  • If you can find out about your credit agreement, and they are unenforceable, does that not give you a better case for a cheaper f&f?

Probably like a lot on this thread, we've had our CCs for ages and ages, so there may be hope that they've lost all the paperwork. Some of them have been passed through a couple of other companies too, I live in perpetual hope but am waiting to get a years payments under our belts. Good luck Elsie and we'll be here for you.
