op - i really do understand how your oh feels im on morphine for pain because of problems with my stomach and have been for 3 years, it sounds to me like he is depressed and he needs to speak to his gp about his pain management, there is a risk with morphine of becoming addicted and if thats the case his dr needs to know, iv got the problem of its not as effective for me because of were my pain being so internal. its not easy for you watch somebody you love be so down and it affects you as well mentally. my advice would be speak to your gp about support available to him and you aswell. tell your oh from me to stay strong and if he wants someone to talk to pm me. the offer is there for you aswell hun living with chronic pain doesnt just affect the person its the whole family aswell. has your oh been referred to a pain management clinic? take care of yourself and stay strong xox
