Hmmmmmm I've been contemplating a zumba for the wii.
It sounds highly amusing & distinctly cheaper than the fit board ( laying dormant in a corner) must check out my amazon acct to see if I can get it for free yet .

Only 8 pages of unread kindle books Moo......you have some catching up to do ;)

If you're looking for freebies I use http://www.jungle-search.com/UK/kindle.php?action=search&cat=341689031&so=daterank&pr1=0&pr2=0#search seems to throw up a few new ones a week although at the moment it seems to be cycling through ones I found a few months ago.

That said I also have some files converted from another ebook format too and there were about 150 of those when I first loaded them on to the Kindle.
It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Oooh... thank you very muchly.... rather strangely it appears that almost a third of the titles are of the dodgy adult variety. Is this because we're a repressed nation of perves who wouldn't be caught dead walking into a main stream bookseller to purchase such trash that they never seem to make it to the supermarket best seller list but we're more than happy to read them on the privacy of our own Kindle? The anonimity offered by the sleek grey outer does make you wonder just what the chap opposite you on the train is reading about. When the world was hooked on The Da Vinci Code you knew it from the cover but now that chap sitting opposite you on the tube with his legs crossed to hide the obvious bulge could well be reading something far more "interesting". I guess thats one way to guarantee you start your day with a smile!

Incidentally I was treated to a cuppa in bed which is always a great start although not at at 5:30am. At least there was no chance of me oversleeping. OH was running late so this was in fact a bribe to get me to scrape the ice off his windscreen whilst he ran round looking for his passport.

The DDs rather amazingly sorted out everything they need for school today which I'm hoping will mean a relatively relaxed start to the day. Just need to remember to throw something together for their lunches and make sure that all their various bags make it to the car.

Took OHs box to school last night. It looks rather impressive especially when positioned next to the other box on which its based. Am pretty sure the boss is going to have a minor fit when he sees it since its huge. Really huge. It didn't look that big in the garden! Dumped all the receipts on the useless secretarys desk in the hopes of being paid v. swiftly.

Plans for today involve a major fridge clear out in the form of a delivery of eggs to a friend. Hopefully this will involve a cuppa and cake. After that I really really really need to sort out the laundry mountain which doesn't seem to be shrinking even though I keep having a bash at it. Also need to do a spot of vacuuming since all four animals are moulting. The floors are truly disgusting as is most of the house. Guess thats the price you pay for a laid back school holiday.

Oh yes indeedy such is the price one pays for sharing a house with the hound from hell. You put something down for a mo to do something else and return to discover that shes hoovered it up for you. Minutes ago I had two slices of hot buttery toast, the postman knocked and now I'm toastless. She knows not to take food from the dining table or the kitchen worktops but things precariously balanced on the arm of the sofa appear to be fair game.

Back to earth with a bump. The return to work was like hell on earth. Had conveniently forgotten quite what it is I spend my days doing normally and consequently wandered round in a daze occasionally thinking crap I've forgotten that and that and that. Managed to do everything I'm supposed to do without anyone noticing I was doing it all rather haphazardly.

Came home, finished the pervey book which got more absurd in the end. The 18th century nymphomaniac ghost witch had an ulterior motive which ended in a XXX rated modern day lurve story. Just goes to show that no matter how vivid your imagination there are only so many ways you can describe an over enthusiastic trouser snake and they're all terrible to the point of hilarity.

Knuckled down to the housework. Did all the ironing and sorted everything into piles for the DDs to transport up and away. Washed the bedding from the master bed and vacuumed upstairs as well as the hall, stairs and landing. Loaded the dishwasher and did two lots of washing up by hand and then did a spot of tidying up before returning to school for the afternoon stint. Could really do with another few hours of domsetic drudgery today but am taking the hound from hell to a social dog walk in a local country park instead. Will be most unimpressed if its a bunch of 70 somethings taking their shitzus for a waddle.

Why thank you but I do feel like a bit of a fraud. I don't deal with life I simply lurch from one catastrophe to the next. I'd be quite happy to avoid life completely but sadly that doesn't pay the bills. And on that note I have some gobsmacking news..... drum roll please... I have a cheque to cover the expenses I racked up over the holidays. Admitedly its the second cheque I've been presented with since the useless secretary struggled to add up the previous one. I guess perfection takes time. More astoundingly I've been threatened with actually being paid the extra cash that I was promised way way back in the distant past. Apparently the reason it didn't hit my wage packet in February or March or even April is because she didn't have my payroll number. Yes such is the magnitude of the metropolis overwhich she has power that she struggled to track me down to ask me for this despite whinging to the boss that I wander in and out of her office like I own the place. Apparently I also move her piles of important stuff around and disrupt her work flow thus affecting her productivity rate. Subsequent whinges involved complaints that her desk is no longer cleaned. Funny that.

Dog walking was .... interesting. The walk was guided by a volunteer park ranger who was clearly very frightened of dogs. Specifically very big dogs. Fortunately there were only eight other dog walkers but one of those had seven dogs of which half were Labradors. Clearly not the volunteers day. Especially when the woman in question openined her car boot and the rear doors and let them loose at which point they whirled around her feet like the spinning mushrooms in a game of Mario Karting. Made the hound from hell walk on the lead for the first half mile. Rather amazingly she was behaving impecably and so I let her off. Shouldn't have bothered. She stuck to my thigh like she was superglued to it. Eventually got the idea that it was ok to run loose and had a fab time even returning when she was called on the first yell which was most surprising. Of course it didn't last. Att he first sign of water she was in despite taking a leap off a bank which was too steep for her to get back up. Fortunately the river shallows out and after a bit of swimming she reached the shallows and was joined by all the other dogs. Spent almost two hours there mostly with her running round loose. She had a fab time. Sadly as predicted other than the woman with the many dogs who is a paid dog walker the rest were nutters. Am not entirely sure I want to socialise with a male of the species who picks his doggy woggy up to kissy wissy her on a regular basis. The kissing I could cope with... the french kissing with lots of tongue was most definately a bit much. Apparently the chap in question has never had a girlfriend or a job and lives at home with mummy. Quelle surprise. Still at least he was normal in comparison to manic depressive woman who took pains to point out that we were all at risk of skin cancer walking round with bare arms and worse still fleecy pajama bottom wearing woman who kept trying to suggest to the elderly chap on sticks that he might like to meet her sister. Ye gads. Talk about the dregs of humanity.

Came home. Scoffed lunch. Read 200 pages of a novel and realised I was very late returning to school.

OH took the DDs to the dentist and returned home bearing news that DD1 is likely to need braces but since theres a 2 year waiting list hes referred her now just to be certain she gets them when they're needed rather than having to wait.

Came home to find DD1 has a birthday party invite for a meal in a restaurant tonight. OH has helpfully accepted and made the fatal mistake of asking the people of poshington what their little darling would like as a gift. Apparently a summer outfit from Next would be just fine. They're having a laugh! Pointed out to OH that in the miniscule window between finishing work and returning to work I am not trudging into the city to purchase v. expensive clothes for someone elses child. DD1 ingeneously dredged up an unopened decorate your clothes with rhinesones kit that she was given two christmasses before and announced that she could have that instead. Who am I to argue? Need to wrap that this morning and source a card and then more importantly have to remember to collect her after work. Since I'll be in town I'll be punishing her with a trip to Mr Ts to get fuel and the weeks shop to save having to do it over the weekend. To think I was planning to enjoy a bit of peace and a lot of Wii Zumba whilst they were all at their usual martial arts class. Bah.
