The internet is a very dangerous thing. For a mere $525 I can see Wicked ! on Broadway. Much as I hate flying and sailing I could quite fancy a trip to the US although I'd rather be canoeing dwon rapids in the back of beyond or cycling through Yellowstone or evn hang-gliding down the Grand Canyon thatn I would shopping in New York theres somthing rather appealing about seeing a show on Broadway. However back on planet earth that same $525 will pay for tickets in London and travel to and from and accomodation and food and spending money and a few other things besides. I must not get carried away. Its rather nice to dream though.

Have written two DooYoos rather badly taking me an entire £1 closer to payout.Only £23 or 46 reviwes to go. This time round its taking forever to get there though. I've uploaded this weeks barcodes to Shop & Scan and claimed another £10 gift voucher making that £20 since I started not that I'm doing anything really the DDs have taken charge of the scanning side of things as being fun. Child labour. You've gotta love it.

Have had a truly outstandingly generous offer of freebie cinema tickets from a super secret MSEr only problem comes in tracking down said cinema chain. typing in the city nearest to where we lives resulted in an uh oh. Typing in the next nearest big place was yet another "computers says naw" whilst the vaguely more general request for a cinema in Wales offered ma choice of Cardiff, Newport, Bristol or Yeovil soo only 4-5 hours or so away. Am thinking I could be in Scotland bey then. Clearly one needs to think a bit more logically about this. Oh yes. England gets me five choices, all of which are in central London. me thinks theres a v. small chance that the Cineworld website is flawed.

The alternative method of playing hunt the cinema using the local phone book was marginally more successful, no that its my local phonebook as I get the welsh one full of abatoirs and sheeperies instead its last years copy liberated from a friend over the border and covers the civilised world and lo and behold theres the right sort of cinema in sensible travelling distance. Whooppeeeee now just need to persuade the DDs to see something other than Nanny McPhee and the big bang. The first was was bad enough and I rather fancy How to Train Your Dragon.

Top Secret MSEr you're a super star!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Needless to say OH broaching the subject of a motorbike was not greeted with the level of excitement he was anticipating.

This lounging about doing nowt business is very tiring. Eventually gave in and got dressed in order to take the DDs out on their bikes. Didn't quite make it as far as the next property before DD2 had demonstrated the art of flying through the air with the greatest of ease only to land in a heap. Returned home briefly to apply iodine before commencing on our trip. Next time round we made it as far as the brow of the hill where we were met with the iciest wind ever. Decided we'd had enough excercise for one day and returned home to consume more chocolate.

Have persuaded the DDs to see How to train your Dragon tomorrow afternoon which gives me 24 hours of bargaining power. The DDs are outside in mini Marigolds scooping up chicken poop in the hopes that this display of voluntary assistance will be sufficient for me to forget that their bedrooms are like assualt courses and they have homework to do before Tuesdays Pony Club. Sadly for them I am not so daft. Still will allow them to finish cleaning out the chickens and wash my car as they've so helpfully suggested before I break the bad news. Won't be too mean though as Eragon is on at 5:30.

Spent most of the night being randomly kicked by DD2 who was incapable of sleeping alone thanks to the battered arm she gained when attempting to prove that children cannot fly no matter how hard they launch themsleves from the comfort of their bicycle seat via the handlebars.

Today is jam packed full of fun things (apart from the hour I have to squeeze in cleaning at school before holiday club starts again tomorrow as I couldn't be arsed on Friday). Going to visit a friend and her pony at thier new stables before lunch. Promised the DDs a trip to the park on the way home followed by late lunch and the flicks. They are very very very excited. Did suggest OH came with us but hes mid grump and is declining to do anything at all with us as a childish way of proving how mean I am. Dopey sod can't see that the only person being punished by his spolit brat like behaviour is him. At times like this he really is a super selfish !!!!!! and I find myself wondering once again why the heck I put up with this apart from the obvious response that I love the guy, even if he is a prat.
